Hierapolis & Pamukkale
Pamukkale, meaning “cotton castle” in Turkish, is one of the natural wonders of Turkey, a hillside of white terraces or travertines formed over thousands of years by the minerals bubbling up through hot springs feed from the depths of the earth. Start exploring the ancient city of Hierapolis, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The city is unique from all other ancient cities in being built not on earth or rock but on solid limestone layers formed by mineral rich waters that flowed for millennia over this raised level plateau. Hierapolis means “sacred city” and it was given this name because of the large number of temples located here.Today, the theatre, the Temple of Apollo and the Necropolis are among the most significant sites of interest in Hierapolis. During the tour you will see the Necropolis (Cemetery) of Hierapolis, one of the largest ancient burial sites in Anatolia; a Roman bath, the Gate of Domitian, the main street of the ancient city, the Byzantium Gate and the Ploutonion.

5.00It was a really great day, the driver was very nice, pick up on time, 2 hr drive into the area, & the tour guide was terrific, he explained everything with details and the information was great, the sights were incredible, the only disappointment was the Cleopatra swimming baths were under construction, so probably in a month they said it could be open again, so no swimming in the cleopatra baths, But still you have those waters where you can walk in, some up to your thighs if you like for healing properties it’s like 3 gigantic layers size pools, and you see the mountains of white, the tour guides patience, kindness, and caring with the group was really fantastic, the food was good, it was a huge restaurant style place buffet style & a really big dessert layout with so many choices, the shops and stops were so great, this was a really great tour I would do it again when I come back. Don’t hesitate it’s well worth it. 10 out of 10

5.00Great experience, thanks to the patient and detailed explanation of the Tijen guide. But if the stay in Hamburg and Hilapolis is longer than half an hour, you can explore a little more relaxed. Overall is a recommended tour.

5.00This day trip was incredible. Mert, our guide, is incredible and knows so much. You can tell he really loves where he’s from, his history, and his heritage. If you go here and do this, please ask for Mert. The team at magnificent tours set all of this up and everything has been perfect down to the minute.

5.00Incredible Experience with Ramazan & the Crowded House Team! We started with a fantastic tour from Istanbul to Assos via Gallipoli and were so impressed by Ramazan and his team at Crowded House that we asked them to organize our private transfers from Izmir to Antalya spaced over the week – and we’re so glad we did! Everything was seamless. The drivers were safe, kind, and always helpful. When needed, knowledgeable guides were arranged, making each stop even more meaningful. Aphrodisias was a standout – absolutely breathtaking and no crowds! We can't recommend Crowded House highly enough. The communication was excellent. Thank you for making our trip unforgettable, fun and hassle free!

5.00I had an amazing experience on this tour with Tijen. She was very knowledge and the tour site was beautiful and interesting. The only downside was that Cleopatra’s pool was closed for renovation. Other than that, I had a good time in Pamukkale.

5.00A well organised tour with the day clearly explained so you knew what to expect. The guide Mert was friendly and informative, giving lots of information and answering any questions we had. The lunch was a good buffet with a nice view. Only drinks at lunch were an additional cost everything else is included in the price.
