Mysterious Road (Dokkaebi Road)

Mysterious Road This fun spot is called the Jeju Mysterious Road or Dokkaebi Road. It earned its name because when you place a car on this steep road, the car does not roll down but it goes up, defying gravity. This is actually an optical illusion, in which the surroundings trick the eye and make the road look like it is tilted in the opposite direction.

Eoseungsaengak Trail

Eoseungsaengak (Eoseungsaeng Volcanic Cone), a parasitic volcano of Hallasan Mountain, can be climbed from the Eorimok District of Hallasan Mountain National Park. It takes about an hour round trip from Eorimok to the top of Eoseungsaengak Peak. The hiking trail is made of log stairs, and the floor is laid with wide wooden boards as a measure to prevent soil loss at the summit. At the beginning of the trail, there is a sign that reads "Eoseungsaengak Hiking Trail" Eoseungsaengak is a favorite Oreum for visitors who want to climb lightly. Its natural state is well preserved and is used as a natural learning trail. On a clear day, you can see Chujado Island, Biyangdo Island, and Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak in the distance, and it is about 1.3km to the top. The tour takes about 30 minutes one way, and the entrance is next to the Eorimok Visitor Information Center. At the top of Eoseungsaengak Peak, which is 1,169m above sea level, Tochka, a Japanese military facility built in 1945, remains.

We had the pleasure of touring Jeju Island privately with our guide, Lee. It was such an eventful day full of amazing sights, delicious food, and beautiful scenery. Lee was an amazing guide, as he customized the tour based on our preferences. He also took lovely pictures of us along the way and awarded us private couple time to enjoy the views in peace. Very reliable and kept us up to date. Everything was as promised. Mr Lee Chi-beum speaks English so communication wasn't a problem. Mr Lee is helpful and his choice for our lunch was great too.

The agent was thoughtful to provide a driver who can speak mandarin. Mr Jeong our driver was a friendly and helpful guide. It was an enjoyable trip to a few must-see places in Seogwipo. Just to note the price quoted is in usd.
