Goreme Panorama
GOREME PANORAMA, The most magnificent landscape around Göreme has been formed from its solidified lava streams, its ash and tuff stone, all dating from Neocene period. It is criss-crossed by deep valleys formed by heavy erosion. This veritable lunar landscape distinguishes itself by its extensive geological formations. The highly typical morphological structures of Cappadocia are the result of thousands of years of continual erosion, which has shaped the tuff deposits into the strangest pyramids and cones.
Uchisar Castle
UCHISAR is a troglodyte village situated 4 km east of Göreme. It is famous for the huge rock formation once used as a fortification. This extraordinary rock is the highest peak in the region and offers a magnificent panoramic view of the whole of Cappadocia with Mt. Erciyes in the distance.Most rooms in the castle are connected to each other with stairs, tunnels and passages. At the entrances of many rooms, there are millstone doors, just like the ones in the underground settlements, used to control access to these places. Due to erosion it is unfortunately not possible to reach all the rooms. Most of the rooms, located on the north side of the castle are still in use as pigeon houses (dovecotes) today. Farmers used these pigeon houses to collect the droppings of pigeons which is an excellent natural fertilizer for the orchards and vineyards.

5.00Cemil was very knowledgeable and pleasant. We spent the night amount of time at each attraction. Cemil spoke very English very well and he as funny. The car was very comfortable. We had a great time.

5.00Wonderful full day tour with Cemil and Semasi. Cemil was very informative and spoke great English. Also kept us laughing all day. He made the tour flexible by giving us options when things would be repetitive. Great tour! The car was comfortable and our driver Semasi was very good.

5.00It was a nice day with Erhan and Semasi. They took us to many different places like fairy Chimneys, open museum. Also telling many stories on how people live in those places in the past. Also very nice photos

5.00Vedat was fantastic! Very friendly, considerate, and well-informed. His depth of knowledge about the history and geology of the region was very much appreciated. He put together a great itinerary for the day and provided the pros and cons for the various options. We particularly liked the underground city in Kaymaklı.

5.00We booked a private Red Tour, a private Green Tour, and an airport transfer. Our guide, Baki, was very experienced and planned the trip extremely well. He explained everything thoroughly and made the tours truly engaging. We also really appreciated that lunch and admission tickets were not included upfront, which gave us the flexibility to choose where we wanted to go each day based on how we felt. Overall, the experience was very flexible and tailored to our group’s needs. We also switched hotels in between, and they picked us up at one hotel and dropped us off at the next with no additional charge—another thoughtful touch that made the trip even smoother.

5.00We had a great time on Cemil’s tour! There are many places he can recommend, and he’s very flexible to your preferences. We really enjoyed the underground city, the panoramic viewpoints, the mushroom valley, and we opted to visit a local school and co-op where women learn to make traditional handwoven rugs. Also the travel is very comfortable in the private van. 10/10 recommend!
