Mindo Nambillo Cloud Forest Reserve
Today we will visit the Nambillo waterfalls, a place where its flora and fauna fill the landscape with magic. We will take a walk of two hours approximately passing through trails full of exuberant flora to reach the waterfall which has an approximate height of 15 meters. Here, you can swim and marvel at the incredible cloud forest landscape that surrounds it.

5.00Andres picked us up from our hotel for a full day excursion To the Mindo Cloud Forest. The Alambi Hummingbird sanctuary was amazing. We must have seen thousands of hummingbirds all in action collecting nectar, it was a photographers delight. Next was the butterfly farm which was another sensory delight, so many types, sizes and colours. The cable car ride and walk to the waterfall certainly got our appetite up. We had a delicious lunch in the town of Mindo, included in the tour. Finally, a tour of the Yumbo Chocolate factory in Mindo to overwhelm our tastebuds. None of this would have been possible without our driver and guide, Andres, who had great knowledge of the area and spoke perfect English. Thank you Andrew for a memorable day.

5.00This was a fantastic trip! Our tour guide Jeannin was friendly and very knowledgeable. She welcomed our questions and gave thoughtful answers. We enjoyed the butterflies and the waterfall hike. It was a little challenging, but she made sure we took plenty of rest and water breaks. The lunch was tasty. The coffee tour was informative and fun because it was hands on for all phases of coffee production. We tried different coffees and coffee snacks. We highly recommend this tour.

5.00David was amazing! Extremely knowledgeable, fun to talk with, and took me to some local places for authentic Ecuadorian food. Cloud forest is gorgeous, and honestly, rain just added to the experience. He was so kind and willing to help when I had a tough time on some other f the steeper parts of the trail due to altitude change and post-op ankle. Tour was completely tailored to my needs and desires. Roberto, the driver, was also great - felt very safe on some very sketchy, curvy roads. Highly recommend!!!

5.00This was my favorite tour of the week. It was jam-packed with wonderful and exciting experiences led by an excellent tour guide. We went to the hummingbird sanctuary, which was a fun unique experience, I zip-lined, sky-biked, hiked the waterfalls, had a delicious lunch in Mindo, and took the chocolate tour. I highly recommend!!!

5.00All very organized. I liked the attitude of the guide and that allowed everyone to go at their own pace. I went on a cycle route that I really liked to venture and get out of the routine even if it was one day. I would go on excursions with Inspiring Ecuador again! I highly recommend them.

5.00A wonderful adventure. Swimming in the Nambilla waterfalls as delightful and refreshing. The zip line/cable basket over the valley was spectacular and felt completely safe. Really enjoyed seeing hummingbirds and all of the other colorful bird varieties. Lunch was delicious and felt extremely local/authentic!

5.00Swimming in the river at the bottom of the falls was fantastic. The zip line-basket taxi over the valley was spectacular. Great time chatting with my guide. Gorgeous birds everywhere
