  We had a wonderful full-day tour with our driver, Srimal! He went above and beyond to separate us from the big crowds and main roads, and to show us what others didn't get to see. This included seeing three different leopards on our tour, one of which our car was completely alone with! He did a phenomenal job, and was clearly the experienced professional in a park full of other amateur drivers.

  Our driver Srimal asked what we wanted to see and we said leopards! He adjusted expectations by explaining that it’s not always possible. However he clearly made every effort possible to help us see the leopard. He had constant contact with other guides on sightings and we did manage to see the leopard just at the end of our tour! He was a very skilled driver and this really helped. The day was action packed and we saw tons of animals. Nisha safari communication was excellent as we were able to pre book months in advance from UK and they made everything very clear, and were reliable.

  Our safari in Yala National Park was absolutely unforgettable, thanks to our amazing guide Su. Right from the start we could tell he has years of experience. He took great care of us, involved us in every decision and made sure we got the most out of the trip. We saw an incredible variety of wildlife and, in the end, even a leopard. At first the leopard stayed hidden, but Su’s persistence and deep knowledge of the park made the sighting possible. We honestly couldn’t have wished for a better guide.

  Really enjoyed the safari! Our jeep had four people, and while the vehicle was similar to others, it was comfortable enough. The driver was very kind, spoke perfect English and provided explanations. Despite not having a dedicated spotter (most groups didn’t seem to have one), he was clearly very skilled at spotting animals, and we were lucky enough to see leopards! Breakfast and lunch (both Sri Lankan) were tasty and plenty. Water was provided, and there was one binocular for the group. Only downsides, two people were on a half-day tour, so extra driving wasted time to get to/from park entrance. Driver was super fast but also very skilled one. It sometimes allowed us to get ahead in queues. Additionally, tips are not included and they were implied to be mandatory Overall, highly recommend!

  We made the full day safari with Janaka Safari and we could not be happier. See lots of animals and even spotted a leopard. Our experience was perfect and our guide very experienced. Truly recommended.

  We had so much fun on our safari! The guide was very knowledgeable and very good at spotting the different wildlife. He was one of the fastest and most skilled drivers we saw on the road. The food was also very delicious. Note that the park closes from 12-2 so there is some downtime after lunch. Thank you so much!

  Su our Gide was very experienced and had shown and explained us a lot and guided us well through the park. He had even found a leopard eating a monkey in the bushes. As for Su, the Safari would have earned 5 points. However, the number of jeeps registered in the park is far too high. We already have experience with safaris in other countries. Since it was still raining, there were traffic jams, which I know mainly from after-hours traffic in big cities.

  What an amazing day! Damith, our amazing tour guide really pulled out all the stops to ensure we had the best day. There are lots of trucks in Yala and they really aren’t all as good as Damith. We were so glad we’d researched and gone with him - he was in constant contact with other guides to know where to find the best wildlife and avoid the crowds. He really understood the animals and knew when to give them their space. Very respectful and also a great host. I thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone.
