  Fantastic trip from start to finish. 4am pick up in a lovely clean comfy car with bottled water. The safari itself was amazing. We saw 10 different elephants including a mum with her 2 babies. Also saw crocodiles, water buffalo and lots of tropical birds. Our guide was knowledgable and very informative. The trip to the Elephant Transit Home to see the babies being fed was also a real experience. Our driver made sure we were there in plenty of time and showed us the best spot to sit for a good view.   We had a fantastic day! We saw so many elephants 😍, the elephant transit home was wonderful. A very professional and friendly service. Our driver Pradeep was brilliant! Also thank you Sam for arranging everything! Thank you 😊

  Was a perfect experience. Taxi was on time and picked us up at 445am from Hiriketiya. About an hour and a half drive. Immediately met your guide and the driver and our guide took us on the jeep through the park. We saw elephants (mother and baby) up close immediately and 2 or 3 other times during trip. The guide was so knowledgeable and pointed out so many different species of bird, peacocks, lizards throughout. Lunch was buffet style a lovely local sri lankan restaurant. Would highly recommend this trip to all.

  We had an amazing day on this tour. A very comfortable drive with Dinesh and an outstanding experience with Dilshan on the safari. Dilshan made sure we didn’t miss any animal in the park. We saw many elephants including babies, crocodiles, spotted deer, monkeys (2 types) many varieties of birds. Lunch was tasty and the trip to the Transit was fun too. It was a pleasure dealing with the staff in the booking process. Everything was easy from the booking process to being dropped off at our hotel.

  Amazing trip! Seeing the elephants up close in their own habitat was such an experience. Milk Feeding at the Elephant Transit Home was very enjoyable, seeing the babies especially. We went on the early trip (4am) but I think this is a good time as it's not too hot and lots of wildlife about, many beautiful species of birds, eagles etc. The drive to the park was very comfy, nice driver and the safari jeep was also very comfy but you need to be aware, this is a safari trail so expect a bouncy ride but I thought it was great! The guide was very knowledgeable & polite and the lunch was very nice. Going early you also beat the crowds at the restaurant. All in all, a great experience, Sam's communication was perfect and I would highly recommend Bentota Travel Mart.

  This was our second day trip booked through benatota travel because the service was excellent If you love elephants like I do, but this we did the early morning which was recommended to see more animals and we was very lucky We saw lots of different birds and animals. Driver was excellent and had an excellent eye for spoiling some of the small birds and lizards. We are lucky enough to see lots of different groups of elephants and babies it was a wonderful experience You have went onto the elephant transit home we were just wonderful watching all the babies get their morning milk. They were certainly vocal for breakfast milk! It was wonderful to see How well cared for and the workload they do at this place I drive Asanka was excellent attended to all of our needs. I was very knowledgeable of the area when I return to Sri Lanka as only managed to cover off the island . I would definitely use Benatota travel again everything was planned out well got all the information you needed in the evening before it was another perfect day out

  Very interesting safari, pickup worked very well, the driver was very nice, food was not good and the sanitary facilities were underground (dirty and no toilet paper)

  Right from the pickup to the drop off everything was arranged so well and was perfectly executed by the team. We were picked up on time from our Airbnb and taken directly to the safari. Our guide was super helpful and could spot birds, lizards, elephants, crocodiles from far off and he made best of efforts to ensure we saw all of them up close. After that we were taken to the most cutest thing to watch - elephant milk feeding time at their rehabilitation centre! We also walked around the elephant museum and learnt a lot about the animal.   Incredible experience on safari here. We saw so many animals: beautiful birds, including so many peacocks, elephants right up close, mongoose, buffalo, wild boar, lizards and crocodiles. The park is beautiful itself and the sound of bird song is charming. It wasn't too busy when we went, although you do see a fair number of other trucks around. Our guide was excellent and could spot animals incredibly well. Highly recommended. From pick up at hotel to the safari and everything else, it was all good.
