Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu
This Full Day program begins with a pick-up at your hotel in Cusco at 03:30am Aproximately and a drive to Ollantaytambo, where you’ll board the 06:10 train for Aguas Calientes, arriving around 07:50. A guide will meet you at the train station in Aguas Calientes and escort you to the bus for Machu Picchu. From this point there’s just a 30-minute bus trip to the sanctuary of Machu Picchu, you’ll arrive at Machu Picchu and enter the site. Explore the Inca complex with a knowledgeable guide for about 2 hours Approximately, See the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana, the Temple of the 3 Windows, the mausoleum and more. You’ll have free time 3 to 4 hours more to take photos and walk around on your own. Visit the Plaza de Armas in town and see what handicrafts are on offer. At the end of the afternoon you'll Return to Ollantaytambo by train, and then you’ll be taken back to Cusco. Note: This tour option need 2 passenger at least

LEGAL NOTICE: Machu Picchu online tickets often sell out months ahead. The Cultural Office in Aguas Calientes releases a limited number for in-person purchase only. August, and most of September 2025 are already sold out for online reservations. If online tickets are sold out, arrive early the day before with your passport to buy in person. In busy times, you may need 2–3 extra nights in Aguas Calientes. Our local team, based in Aguas Calientes, is actively monitoring ticket availability and will provide you with timely updates. We’ll guide you on exactly when to arrive and assist with any necessary changes, On arrival, your guide will meet you in Aguas Calientes and help you through the entire process. Please note: August, and most of September 2025 are already sold out for advance online reservations.

5.00Excellent work of staff. I booked a tour to Machu Picchu and the Colorful Mountain 2 days before arriving in Cusco and everything was as combined. The office staff, the guides, the drivers..all very attentive and always ready to help. I recommend.

5.00Everything happened in the confines, at every train or bus stop there was some head of the Enterprise waiting for us for transportation, everything happened on time and without worries! We were picked up at the hotel door and left there at the end of the day. Really good. I recommend!

5.00From the first contact with Carla to the return to the hotel after the tour, everything happened professionally and efficiently. We were very pleased with our guide in Macchu Picchu, Mr. Francisco, and with the drivers of our transfer. Carla is very attentive and gave us tips on how to explore Cusco in a short time, in addition to helping us with the walk to the Sacred Valley. We are very pleased and grateful.

We were very well advised by Henry, we closed ALL the tours of our stay in Cusco with Willka Travel. We came back with the feeling of having known all the desired places well, with all the necessary explanations and very careful and patient guides! Worth it and super indicate!
