Good experience with guide and taking very well care of the group especially with elderly people. Better, experienced and knowledgable. Sequence of events planning would have been better and would have saved some time.

I had a wonderful experience with this Viator tour. Originally scheduled for 6 a.m., the team was extremely kind and accommodating in shifting the start time to 8 a.m. due to heavy fog, which I really appreciated. The walking tour was thoughtfully done, and the boat ride was absolutely beautiful and added so much to the experience. The evening aarti was truly special and very well organized. Our guide, Himanshu, was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful—he shared a lot of interesting information and made the tour even more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic experience and highly recommended!

The Varanasi tour covered the main locations in and around the city. The itinerary was followed as planned, and the arrangements were adequate. The experience was fairly standard and matched expectations for a regular city tour.

Interesting tour. Himanshu is an experienced guide and explains their culture, values and different religions well and patiently. Describes in detail the history of the city taking you to the old part as well. I don’t speak English but he was able to explain everything by speaking slowly and using Google translator. I recommend the tour with Himanshu to everyone.

Varanasi the word spells positive vibes. Yes that’s what I felt. Excellent arrangement by UP Govt and the tour company. Ghats were clean as I had imagined from social media but more can be done with the help of local bodies and local people. Good boat ride specially sun rise The tour guide Mr Himanshu was helpful and cooperative. Would recommend him for any of your future tips. He has that thing in him and always eager to show around.

My guide was Himanshu Singh, who insisted not twice or three times, but four and five times that I write a review for him. I understand how important the reviews are. I clearly understand instructions when they are given to me once. I was already frustrated because he tried to end a 4-hour tour after 2.5 hours and I had to contact the tour company about it. Varanasi is a very old, very dirty, very busy, and very poorly maintained city. Expectations should be reserved. There is a lot of history; a lot of old buildings and temples falling to ruins. The cows leave messes all through the alleys. It's sad. I appreciate the information Himanshu gave me and I did learn from him.

Himanshu was a great guide, very knowledgeable and punctual. Spending a full day experiencing Varanassi was really special. We sailed at sunrise on the Ganges, discussed they key ghats and had some puri sabji for breakfast. We had a walking tour of the alleys and explored Sanarth. The day ended with a deeply spiritual aarti ceremony. I recommend this tour.
