  We had a fantastic day with Babou!!! He tried very hard to please us. The journey to Fathala is long, but really gives a great insight into the lives of the locals. And Fathala itself is also a lot of fun, because we went off-road and therefore got to see a lot of wildlife. We were so satisfied with Baboucarr that we are going to do other trips with him now.   We had the most amazing time! Babu, our guide for the day, was legendary and we felt pampered from pick up early in the morning until he took us back home in the afternoon. He obviously likes his job a lot and has a lot of experience, which instills confidence in all his guests. On the day we were lucky enough to see all the animals, including zebras, antilopes, Kevin the rhino, giraffes, warthogs, crocodiles… it couldn’t have gone any better.

  Jackie & Karl had such a fantastic day with Baboucarr, the experience from start to finish was brilliant. The animals were fantastic as well. We were made to feel special it was definitely an experience we will not forget

  

  

  

  

• Fun safari in Senegal!

  My husband and I really enjoyed the trip to Senegal to the Fathala Animal Reserve. It was wonderful to see the animals roaming free and we were fortunate to see the rhino, giraffes, different antelope species and zebra. The round trip is very long to the reserve, however, so patience is needed! Babou Carr was a very good guide and we felt very comfortable with him. Also he helped us get through the various check points and passport offices without stress. We would recommend this trip!

  We had an intensive, beautiful day. Many impressions gained with good guide Barbou and driver Serra. Barbou speaks good English and is willing to explain everything. The ferry crossing is an experience in itself. So many people coming. After the crossing a short impressive walk to the jeep that is ready with driver. The border crossing to Senegal was chaotic, crowded and much, but we were well escorted by our guide. The Safari was fun to experience. Accompanied by good English speaking guide of the park. We didn't do the walking with the lions. Doesn't fit our image of a safari. On the way back lunch and the same busy ferry crossing. Nicely dropped off at our hotel. We had a great day.

  0650 started a Great day seeing the Gambiains going about their day. From Banjul where the locals were setting up for the day, we enjoyed local coffee and fried donuts from the street vendors. The ferry was a great experience, locals coming and going with their wares to sell for the day. Barra was also great to see, watching everyone jostle and barter for your business. All with a friendly smile. Our guide Baboucarr was always by our side. He was knowledgeable and great fun. He always had an eye out for you to ensure a safe passage through the crowds . The safari was great, just us two and the guide (and Babaoucarr) in our 4x4. Seen giraffes, buffalo, Rhino ,antelopes etc. Back for a lunch at a local restaurant where the food was great. Then returned to our hotel for 1530. A long day but very enjoyable. Thank you Baboucarr

  Well organised, on time etc. The guide was friendly and helpful. Don't expect 5 star luxury as this is Africa, but that's part of the experience.

• Nice park, nice experience. A little more time in the park and also watching smaller animals (boar, monkey birds) would be nice!
