This approximately 8-hour private tour takes you along Iceland's most popular excursion route.

You'll experience waterfalls, hot springs and geysers, marvel at large fissures created by continental drift, see the effects of earthquakes and taste delicious Icelandic ice cream.

The tour is led by a German-speaking, experienced local guide who will provide you with expert information about the sights, but also a lot of information about the country and its people.

In the greenhouse town of Hveragerði there will be a stop at the local shopping center. There you can see a fissure that was created in 2008 during a magnitude 6.2 earthquake. A video clearly shows the effects of the earthquake. You can experience what the earthquake felt like in an earthquake simulator (chargeable).

The Kerið crater is a 55m deep crater that was formed during a volcanic eruption around 6,500 years ago.

We were in Reykjavik by cruise ship and had booked a Golden Circle private tour. Sven, boss and guide, provided us with a lot of information about Iceland during the trip to the individual hotspots. He has an enormous knowledge of his adopted country. There was an answer to every question. Requests were individually addressed and the tour was constantly adapted. Sven, thank you for the wonderful day.

The tour was excellently planned, all important destinations were approached. The explanations on the bus were understandable, very interesting and gave a diverse insight into life and country. Many historical, geological, and societal topics were covered. A great day that also made the rainy weather forget.

It was a very nice and interesting tour. Our guide Thea was very nice and explained everything to us very well and understandably. There was also plenty of time to explore the sights of the national park.

Goods in June 2025 with the AidaSol in Reykjavik. Had booked in advance the Golden Circle tour with German guide. It was a great trip!!! with enough time at the sights (volcanic crater, waterfall, gysir as well as in the national park). Without stress and hassle. Our guide (Andy from NL) led us through the day and was able to bring us closer to the country and people. The organization by SPS Travel is highly recommended. Keep it up!!!

The trip was very nice. We got to see a lot and it was explained a lot. Also about living in Iceland. Very interesting. In the minibus the microphone system was malfunctioning, but the guide went to great lengths to make sure everyone understood something. We will always come back where we can on Kria Tours and recommend it to anyone else.

It was a relaxing tour with many Unpacked. Our driver Andy explained a lot to us and did not overload with data. The time of the stops was very well timed. We were picked up on time and were also back on time at AIDAluna. Thank you for this unforgettable day!

We did the German version of the Golden Circle with our guide Andy. It was a completely successful tour with great explanations, many answers to our questions. The team of Kriatours is a dream for tourists !!️‼️
