• Great guide, amazing views & wildlife

  Peter, our guide, was exceptional. In particular, his in-depth knowledge of every area, and his ability to find/spot wildlife was amazing. He made the trip quite memorable and extremely enjoyable.

  Very professional tour guide, with a lot of knowledge in many fields, safe driving, friendly, takes care about the whole group. He makes sure to find Koalas and Kangaroos and show it to you. He explains everything from the pan of business and culture. I took many tours in Australia in the last two weeks, and this is the first time I enjoy the tour and feel safe and comfortable during the journey. The next day of the tour the guide supposed to fly to Taiwan visit his family, so I wish him a safe trip.

  My mom and I had an excellent Great Ocean Road day trip with a small group. Jimmy, our tour guide and driver was so nice and explained everything we have seen. The tour was well organised with several stops. Definitely enjoyed and recommend this tour.

  

  

  

  

  

  

  

• Good, Bad, Ugly

  Do not get picked up at the last stop in the morning. You will get stuck in the rear seats. The rear seats are very uncomfortable (they sit very upright where every other seat has some built in recline). There is little space between your face and the headrest in front of you (about 6-8 inches) making sight seeing from the vehicle difficult at best, and there is the hump for the wheel well where your feet go. The trip was great, the sights were awesome, Wayne our tour guide was also great BUT, my wife and I were so uncomfortable for the whole day (13 hours in the van) which ruined the tour for us. This would have been a 5 star review but was spoiled by the accommodation. What a shame. Maybe offer a two tiered pricing for good seats and not so good seats.

  I was torn on how I wanted to write this review. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone, BUT, with a warning. We were picked up at the last pick-up spot which put us in the rear seats of the van. THESE SEATS WERE TERRIBLE. All other seats sat in a semi reclined manner. Ours sat straight up, like the last row of an airplane. The space between our seat and the one in front of us gave me less than 8" between the headrest in front of me and my face. Furthermore, one of the seats had the wheel well for the back tire, leaving restricted foot space. It was very bad. My wife and I were uncomfortable all day and had a head rest right in front of my face and no room for your feet. In an effort to maximize profits the owners book these seats, and these seats are not worth the price paid. Word to the reader. Get picked up first or second stop. If not, you are stuck in the most uncomfortable seats for 12-13 hours. Regrettably, when you are uncomfortable seat the rest of the day is adversely affected. The tour was good and our tour guide Wayne was super nice, knowledgeable, and efficient at his job. We saw incredible sites, had enough time at each spot to take in the beauty of the area, The Great Ocean Road tour was a highlight of our visit to Melbourne, too bad it was ruined by the seats. Maybe the owners should take a tour in these seats to understand that a couple bucks isn't worth the bad taste left. Had we not been in these seats the review would have been 5 star.

• Fabulous Great Ocean Road day trip for a solo traveller, definitely a bucket list experience

  My first trip on the Great Ocean Road and it lived up to my expectations, definitely a bucket list trip. Our first stop was at an old school bakery in Colac - lots of delicious breakfast options and lovely staff. The (less than) 12 Apostles are stunning. It was windy and and we had a couple of light showers but that didn’t detract from the experience at all. Recommend taking a shower proof jacket. Apollo Bay and Lorne are beautiful too. Our guide and driver Jimmy was amazing and so funny and provided very entertaining commentary. This was my first day trip as a 60 year old solo traveller and I was very comfortable and tour absolutely exceeded my expectations.
