Cruise to Green Island from Cairns and find a tropical paradise on the Great Barrier Reef. You'll spend either four or five hours at Green Island, with plenty of time to snorkel, tour the reef on a glass-bottom boat or view coral from a semi-submersible submarine.

    Dont expect 5 star resort. It is very eco friendly. Do expect pristine beach with crystal clear ocean swimming with fish and snorkling. Definitely recommemd a glass bottom boat ride. The reef and what swims below was amazing. Spotted whales on the trip back to cairns. A perfect day.

    we took our own snorkelling and goggles, and went on the glass bottom boat which was very good, we got see a lot of fish.

    Obviously the sea can be rough and therefore not particularly pleasant. However the boat ride was rough and yet at Green Island it wasn’t bad. It did rain but it wasn’t a problem. I saw some beautiful fish just off the beach. My husband went out further and swam with 3 turtles. Despite the weather the day was wonderful.

    Big Cat provide a professional and friendly servicev- certainly recommend this option. Punctional and smooth crossing. Glass bootom boat trip was an additional bonus and a great experience
