Experience three stunning waterfalls in one day! Start at the beautiful Llano de Cortez waterfall, with a short hike leading to a refreshing pool and sandy beach for swimming and photos. Afterward, head to Oropendula Falls, a 25-meter cascade near Rincon de la Vieja Volcano, where you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch nearby. Finally, visit Poza Los Coyotes, a hidden local favorite perfect for swimming and photo ops, before returning to Tamarindo around 4 p.m.

We had the most incredible experience on our 12 hour day trip to the hot springs, ziplining, horse back riding & more with the incredible Ernesto!!! He was so kind and eager to share such valuable information about the Costa Rica culture! If you ever want to go on the best adventure, you must do the x-plore and have Ernesto!!

Everything has been amazing. One excursion turned into another and another and another. We ended up booking four total and would do them all again. Chris and his staff have been amazing to work with. Found them through someone local. Their office is conveniently located right on the main strip of Tamarindo. We highly recommend checking them out for all your interests!

Recently(2 weeks ago)went back to Tamarindo & did this tour with Xplore. Eugenio was our guide. As always, Eurgenio was prompt & excited about our travels that day! I have traveled to Tamarindo for the past 7 years & this tour company is just like family to me!! We had a real treat, stopping near Liberia at a local soda for b'fast with Eugenio. Then, on to the waterfall adventures! We went to 2 beautiful waterfalls & got to swim & even took a kayak out under one of the falls! Eugenio took us to Liberia & showed us the huge tree in the center of town which is home to many, many protected Iguanas! Many of these Iguanas are very elderly & extremely large. Eugenio is an outstanding guide, a native of Costa Rica, and extremely knowledgeable about the country! It's always a great learning experience combined with lots of fun! Be sure to not miss this fantastic adventure while visiting Tamarindo!!
