In this 9.5 hours tour you will be able to visit the rock, to walk around the pictoresque Guatape town and learn its history with our certified bilingual tour guides.

And last but not least the paragliding flight will be an unforgettable experience since you will be flying over mountains, rivers and towns.

The green color of the mountains is so vivid that together with a 90 meters (295 ft) beautiful waterfall make you feel that you are flying over a paradise.

After we pick you up at your place the drive to the paragliding spot is a bit more than an hour in an enjoyable drive through the mountains. We accompany you throughout the whole process such as help you with the insurance registration, keeping your belongings safe and taking the best photos of you during take off, flying and landing. We do this activity with certified and experienced local pilots that provide safe and fun flights using the safest equipments. The pilot will give you the instructions to take off and what to do in the air. This paragliding flight will be an unforgettable experience since you will be flying over mountains, rivers and towns. The green color of the mountains is so vivid that together with a 90 meters (295 ft) beautiful waterfall make you feel that you are flying over a paradise. The flight lasts around 15 minutes depending on weather conditions and the altittude is close to 5000ft (1550 mts). After this adventure, ready to climb up an impressive rock?

The drive from the paragliding to the rock is around 1 hour but is full of beautiful sceneries of kale plantations, onion, sugar cane, coffee, and dozens of mountains silhouettes. As we drive we start telling you all the history of the rock: components, owners, when it was climbed and more interesting facts about this mysterious monolith. Once we get there you get the chance to climb it up. It’s 749 steps and 50 minutes approximately to go up and down. Once you reach the top, you can stay up there for as long as you wish as you witness one of the most beautiful views you have ever seen. This is not only our opinion but that of thousands of tourists we have taken there. At the top there are several shops where you can buy water, beer and many other items and sit down to appreciate the view of the lake, tiny islands and country houses Whenever you feel ready to start going down we'll be ready waiting for you to continue our adventure to one of the most colorful towns in the country

Highly recommend! Alejo was absolutely fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating! The paragliding views were breathtaking, and we loved the visit to El Peñol and Guatapé.

Favorite tour I took in Colombia! a little late to post but while reminiscing on photos I realized this is a 5 star excursion that I had to get out into the world, my guide was great and I felt very attended to, had a blast of a day!

We went on the paragliding, rock, and guatape tour and had the best day! While the activities sell themselves (10/10), what set this tour apart was our amazing guide Laura! Laura is knowledgeable, personable, and soo positive and nice to everyone 😊 She helped us enjoy and appreciate everything more and really went out of her way to make sure that we had the best time 💫 The sites and activities are going to be the same for any tour, but Laura made our tour so special and memorable so I highly recommend her 💯 💯 (PS. The drive is 2-2.5hrs either way from Medellín, so choose your tour guide wisely aka choose Laura 😉)

The walk up the hill was a bit challenging with lots of steps, but totally worth it. Everyone there was super friendly and welcoming. They had drinks available to purchase while you waited. The views were absolutely incredible! My guide made me feel safe and at ease the entire time, and took tons of great photos. Overall, an unforgettable experience—highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience on the tour with Andrés. He is a lovely man, very kind and with admirable patience. From the beginning he made sure we were comfortable and enjoying the tour. His knowledge of the place, combined with his charisma and attention to detail, made the tour not only informative, but also very enjoyable. This was a new adventure for me and my husband. Our Tour guide was Erika ! We loved everything about her. She was attentive , very informative, and just about the sweetest thing you could find in Colombia. It was a smooth pick up from our hotel, she was always on time. We stopped at paragliding first( anxiety through the roof) , it was WORTH EVERY PENNY we spent. After completing that thrilling ride we had a celebratory drink at the cafe on site and was off to Guatape. In the town of Guatape we explored the rock and also went into town. I loved how private the tour was, me and my husband got to move at our own pace and actually take in our surroundings, then back to the hotel we went. The day was long but Erika made sure we explored until we couldn’t anymore. She was SO GREAT we ended up booking our city tour of Medellin with them also. Money well spent. If you’re reading this Erika We Miss You Amiga!

My friend and I have traveled all over the world, and Erika it’s hands-down one of the absolute best guides we have ever had. From the moment she picked us up at our Airbnb, to the time when she dropped us off, she was professional, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, caring, and just all around amazing. The drive felt quick because of her wonderful talks about the country and all the sites we were seeing. Her knowledge level is astounding. she made sure that both my friend and I were able to do everything we wanted to, because the two of us do not have quite the same tastes. The way she was able to please, and accommodate both of us was incredible. I cannot say enough about all the sites we saw, the boat ride that was set up, a smooth trip for me at the rock, and the way Erika made sure that I had an incredible guide for the paragliding. We loved Erika so much that we booked two more tours with her during our short stay. We would return to Medellin just to be able to take a tour with Erika again.

It was incredible. Laura was a the best guide I’ve ever had. Not only was she well informed but also extremely patient with us. You will not be disappointed with booking this. Her food recommendations are top notch as well. The paragliding teams were 10/10. As a fully bodied man (280 lbs) haha they made me feel very comfortable with their skills.
