With our passion for Cologne and its local beer specialty Kölsch, we want to take you on a journey to our favorite brewhouses in town. Become part of the Crew and try different Kölsch brands and learn why we love Kölsch so much! We spontaneously adapt every single tour to the group, so we can truly say: Our Cologne - Your tour!

On our brewhouse tour in Cologne's old town, our guides will bring you to four traditional brewhouses. In each brewhouse you will have the possibilty to try a different Kölsch and our entertaining guide will tell you everything you need to know about Kölsch, Cologne and the local mentality.

Why are the tours offered without included drinks?

In all the brewhouses, we pay the same price as everyone else. Including drinks would cause us administrative costs, we'd have to add to the tour price.

Please make sure, you have enough cash with you. Expect around €2.50 per beer.

Martin was great! Very knowledgeable about Kölsch history and passionate about his favorite beer. The locations we visited were perfect. It was great to get a tour from a born and raised local.

Interesting, tasty and very fun experience. We visited many interesting pubs with different kinds of Kölsch beer Guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. Recommend 10/10!

I booked this for my husband's birthday. We quickly ate and then rushed to get there as we had other things on. When we got there, nobody was there and then on rechecking the time on Viator I found a message saying it had been cancelled (only 2 hours before the start) due to not enough people signing up. On checking the small print in the description it says:- "This experience requires a minimum number of travellers. If it’s cancelled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund" It hadn't occurred to me that it could be cancelled once booked so I didn't realise to keep checking the Viator messages. A phone call would have been appreciated. Or even better no cancellation!
Fun tour! Having a guide for Kolsch was a smart call on our part.

Got a fantastic overview of various types of Kolsch beers offered in Koln/Colonge. Our guide was Bernie and a trainee named Vincent was there from the Kolsch crew. Bernie was very knowledgeable. There was one other couple so it was intimate and a load of fun learning the German customs, forgetting to place the coaster on top of the beer, and seeing the various breweries along with interesting historical facts along our walks. Highly recommend if you want an overview of various breweries and a fun tour. Bernie did an excellent job in explaining popular culture too along with showing us important items in each Brew house.

This tour was amazing! Our guide, Heike, was incredibly kind, outgoing, and informative. The tour was nicely paced and very fun. I felt like I learned so much in such a short period of time. It was also great to feel special when arriving at each brewery, as Heike had a great relationship with all of the managers. I highly recommend this tour! Best regards to Heike!
