While being led by our enthuasiastic guides, who double as passionate Kölsch consumers, you'll get more than just an idea of the beer, but also an idea of what makes Cologne tick behind the scenes and why our beer and our people are tied together.

Here we will meet to begin our tour with a brief introduction and a summary of the day's plan! Get to know your fellow guests and get ready to start your journey into Kölsch.
The second stop of our tour! We’ll begin our journey into beer tasting here as well with our first Kölsch of the evening, learning about the traditions of Cologne’s beers and the rules associated with drinking it. We’ll also learn about more about the famous brewery where the Mühlen Kölsch is brewed and which famous American became part of its story.

5.00I enjoyed the beer tour. It was a nice way to spend the afternoon with lovely people and the guide (Amber). It would have been overwhelming for me to choose which brewery to go to and this way I was able to try 5 different locations. I think it was money well spent.

5.00Amber was a great guide. She was very personable and dedicated time to everyone on the tour. We learned a lot about the history of Köln beer & she made it easy to hop from place to place and feel comfortable. She even patiently waited with the group so we could shop! We highly recommend her for a great tour in English, an introduction to Köln and information about the region.. Thank you Amber🇺🇸

5.00Had an amazing experience with my partner during the tour. We knew it might get canceled beforehand if there were not enough (or too many) people, but never did we expect basically a private tour. Our guide Alba/Alva (sorry, I forgot!) was lovely, spoke good German, Spanish and English, and had her own experiences and fun additions to the tour. Would recommend, especially in Spanish! Thank you again.

5.00Guide David arrived at the meeting point at the Heumarkt on time. He led the group of 9 people (4 Dutch and 5 British) around five breweries in a relaxed way. Everywhere he had a fascinating story about the history and culture around Kölsch and of course we could taste the beer of the house in every opportunity. What differences! Surprising. The tour was interesting and fun. Highly recommended for those who visit Cologne, also for those who have been there before.

5.00The tour was amazing and the tour company could not have been more accommodating. They responded to messages quickly and allowed me to reschedule my tour when they had no obligation to do so. Them being so accommodating really meant a lot. They clearly love cologne and want to share it with people. Amber, our tour guide was great and very friendly.
