Come Snorkel with us at the famous Tres Palmas Marine Natural Reserve, also known as Steps Beach, and see a amazing coral reef with lots of local aquatic life. Sea turtles are one of our more famous inhabitants at the reserve. One of our certified snorkel guides, who is experienced and knowledgeable with the local reefs, guides you safely through the reef so you can get the most out of your snorkeling experience in Rincon Puerto Rico. There is a high probability of seeing a sea turtle but can not be guaranteed. We can however guaranty that you will see many different smaller colorful reef fish. *We go from shore, we don’t use a boat.

1.00Would not suggest. Wear a life vest if you go. Tour guide was not attentive. We did not have a pleasant experience.

1.00Would never recommend this tour. We never went due to a swell and the operator called the day before to notify us and stated “I’m sure you didn’t notice because most people don’t but it’s no refund so we can reschedule’l I did find my booking and it clearly says I can get a refund as the tour is weather dependent. Despite that truth the operator is refusing to refund our money. I’ve used Viator many times without an issue so I’d highly recommend selecting one of the many other snorkeling tours offered!
If you can’t swim, ask for a life vest otherwise it is a wasted activity that you can’t enjoy.

3.00If you can’t swim, you need to ask for a life vest. I assumed there would be one because all my past experiences there were always a life vest. Also the waiver location was different from the Viator meet location. Voicemail was not setup when I tried calling but I was able to get a text response when I got to the location indicated with the waiver. After texting that I would like someone to drop off a life vest, the person said he/she tried to contact someone but offered that I can join the 1pm group. Of course I have to check with the family if it conflicts other plans.
Juan is awesome! Will book again next time!

5.00This company was super professional and instructions were provided in a timely and thorough fashion. We had a follow up question about our meeting place and called and then gave us an exact spot. Our guide, Juan, was right on time. Welcoming, helpful, confident and he clearly spends a lot of time in the ocean. I was nervous to snorkel (sometimes fish and deep water scare me) but he was so helpful that the experience was really relaxing and fun!! He said he also does diving tours and we will definitely be booking one with him when we come back!

5.00This tour was absolutely amazing! We drove about an hour here from Aguadilla area for the 9 am tour and ended up having the whole tour to ourselves. Our guide was friendly and so knowledgeable and helped us see so many awesome things, including a sea turtle, a nurse shark, two tarpons, and lots of tropical fish. The water was a little cloudy, but we still got to see plenty. Spent the entire 2 hours in the water since we parked right at the marina. For $50 per person, this was absolutely fantastic!

1.00This is a literal SCAM. We arrived a half hour before our set tour time at 1:00 pm, to make sure we could find the meet up spot (which was very unclear) and our tour guide. However our tour guide stopped answering our calls and texts when we got there. We asked around some locals and even the local police that was watching this particular beach, where to go and where to find this guided snorkeling tour, and to no avail. If you book this tour and start communicating with someone from a phone number 772-332-0274 ITS A SCAMMMM so beware and don’t waste your time driving 3 hours here from San Juan, just to get blown off by your “tour guide”. I will be getting a full refund and this listing will be getting reported for fraud. I have screenshots of all communication, that I will be more than ECSTATIC to provide to this report.

5.00Chandler is very friendly, we got to see some beautiful fish and sea turtles. He is very knowledgeable told us what ever fish we seen was. The reef is beautiful and it was definitely a great experience!

1.00I was texted the Saturday before my trip (which was for the following Saturday) and told that my tour had been cancelled. I asked for a refund and they told me to contact Trip Advisor after the trip date. The day before my cancelled trip (Friday) I was contacted by text and told that the trip was on and there would be no refund. I told them I had made other plans - but they refused to acknowledge that the text was sent - said someone else, not from their tour group, texted me. I did not get a refund and was basically told that making the reservation through a 3rd party was my problem. Rude, unhelpful and frankly pretty underhanded. Clearly the first text came from them - how else did they get my cell #, name, date and time of the trip? Why would anyone Phish me about that anyway? Their mistake and they should have taken responsibility for it. Avoid this vendor.
