  Valera did a great job even though the weather did not cooperate. We had heavy rain and even some flooding. He took us and pointed things out and told us about the area and the country, but due to the torrential rain, we were stuck with just driving tour. I would do it again if we are back some time in the future.

  Very knowledgeable and polite drivers. Fermin was our driver. Would definitely come back and request him. Took us everywhere we wanted and showed us both the local vibe and the tourist spots.

  Fermin Valera was an excellent driver. Very knowledgeable, patient and was by far the best guided tour we have ever had!! We totally would recommend Fermin to anyone looking to explore Puerto Plata!!!! He gave our family the best experience, one that we will always remember!!!!   We had a wonderful day. There was only the 2 of us and Chepe took great care of us. He asked if there was any places we particularly wanted to see. Since it was the 2 of us we got to see what we wanted. I wanted to go to the Hard Rock Rock shop to purchase a T-shirt. He made that happen. My friend was having a lot of pain due to a recent hip replacement and requested a stop at the drug store. He made that happen as well. We saw umbrella street and pink street and the park. He took us down by the beach and stopped so we could check out the beach and take pictures. He took us by the fort but we didn't want to get out there so we went on. In the beginning of the tour he took us to a great spot to see much of Porta Plata. He was always offering to be our photographer. And he did a great job as well. It was my second tour of the city but my friends first time to the Dominican Republic. She was very pleased with each location he took is too. It was great to be the only 2 on the tour because we received a more personal tour and was able to learn a lot about the Dominican Republic and the city. We also visited a store where they took the laramar and the amber and showed us what it looks like before it is made into jewelry. There was also a jewelry store that was owned by one family with several family members working there. We both received personal attention while we made our decisions. I bought a dog's paw pendant with the 4 paw pads in larimar and the large paw pad made of amber. They helped me pick out the perfect sterling silver chain. Chepe made sure they took care of us on the prices. He waited very patiently as we made our selections. When we were finished with the tour he went and retrieved the cat and came and picked us up so we didn't have to walk any further. Very nice man and a great tour guide. I highly recommend this tour and Chepe as the tour guide.

  Juan was awesome, he took us everywhere we needed to go and educated us on Dominican Republic history. Definitely will do it again.

  Chepe was a great guide. He took us to all of the highlights of the city. I recommend taking this tour. We enjoyed seeing all of the sites. He also told us the history of the area.

  Valera was amazing and took us to the most wonderful restaurant, Crew Heaven! Food was so good and wine was delicious! Valera let us decide what we would see and I hope everyone that goes to Puerto Plata will take one of his tours! It was the highlight of my vacation

  We were on a Carnival Cruise that stopped in Amber Cove and we wanted to tour the city outside of Amber Cove and it’s called Puerto Plata and I’m so glad we did! When you arrive to the port you will walk all the way outside of the port area and you will see guys with green shirts and that’s when we were assigned “Jeremy Pascual” to be our driver and we had such an excellent private tour experience from beginning to the end. Jeremy fully customized our tour to our liking - we went to Monkey Land, tour of the city “Umbrella Street” and some other popular tourist places. He drove us all over I think our tour was about 5.5 hours we had such a unique experience. I highly recommend this company and Jeremy!

  Picked up on time, described history of area and culture in detail. Very friendly, about 3 to 4 hours. We were picked up in air conditioned van with working seat belts and Chepe drove us to all the itinerary items listed. In addition, he asked what eles we would like to do such as cigar factory and chocolate shop without any pressure tactics. Really enjoyed.
