Located in the heart of Toledo, the Cathedral is one of the most emblematic buildings in the city. Its gorgeous architecture, its wonderful ornaments, the Monstrance, every little detail, will help you to get a better understanding of the splendorous past of Toledo.
You will be able to admire the stained glass windows that decorate all the naves, the Monstrance, the main altarpiece, the choir, and the Clear.
At the end of the visit, you will have time to see the rooms of the Sacristy, a little museum of paintings by the most important Spanish and Italian artists. When the visit is finished you will be allowed to stay inside until the closing time, to wander, to take pictures of just to enjoy peacefully the atmosphere of this monument.

3.00Viator gave us no indication of how to meet up with our group. No look for a ‘yellow’ umbrella. Nothing. Details were to meet at the plaza de Ayuntamiento when in fact it was in front of the ticket office of the cathedral. So we missed the first 15 minutes of the tour and had to buy our tickets into the cathedral. Our English tour was actually 60% Spanish and 40% English so that was a disappointment. I wanted a tour to explore all the details of the cathedral which we missed many. The guide was knowledgeable but her company should have advertised it was a dual language tour and I would have been prepared.

4.00I would rather have had an audio self guided tour . The tour guide was informative but spoke very rapidly . Her English was very good.. but listening to a Spanish accent and rapid fire speech in an already crowded area was difficult for me to follow. She was so kind .. to point out details that I had missed during her presentation. She “ read her audience “ and attended to each member in our small group… even offering translations in both English and Spanish to our group.

5.00The 23€ price looked expensive at first but includes the 12€ entrance to the church, making for a great price. Our guide Vanessa was amazing, giving little anecdotes and a detailed overview of the church's and city's history.

5.00Rachel (our guide) was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and because we were such a small group(8) she was able to take her time and answer our questions. She was able to switch between English and Spanish fluently. The Cathedral was breathtaking. I would highly recommend this tour and taking time to eat at a local restaurant and visit the shops. Park away from the Cathedral because the streets near the top are very narrow and hard to navigate.
Absolutely helpful guide. If she was answering the phone, we'd have met her inside the cathedral and we ⁇ 't have missed her.

1.00I'm 10 minutes late. The guide called me and I explained we were approaching. When we arrived, the group was gone. I called the guide 3 times and unfortunately she didn't answer. So I had to repay tickets to get into the Cathedral.
