Toledo is one of the oldest and most beautifully preserved cities in Spain, home to monuments, museums and works of art that span millennia – from Roman ruins to spectacular Gothic cathedrals, mosques and synagogues, as well as narrow cobbled streets and romantic squares. Our guided tour is a walk through the Christian, Jewish and Muslim quarters, with stops at the Alcázar, the mosque, the synagogues and the 13th-century cathedral. We will also explore the fantastic work of El Greco, complete with a visit to his masterpiece, The Burial of the Count of Orgaz, at the Church of Santo Tomé. The tour is rounded out with a visit to exclusive underground spaces and archaeological ruins, including 13th- century wells, Roman thermal baths, and many more magical places. Your guide will recommend the main monuments you can visit, but if you have a special cultural or religious preference, let us know and that’s where we’ll focus our efforts to make a tailor-made visit just for you.
Catedral Primada
Visit the interior of the Primate Cathedral of Spain and its museums (Treasure Room, Choir, Sacristy, Chapter House, etc), built in Gothic style in the thirteenth century, with an impressive sixteenth century facade. 5.00My family really enjoyed this personalized experience. We were picked up by a driver in a luxury van and met our tour guide in Toledo. We received a personalized tour of the city and our guide took great pictures of our family. Just the right amount of details to keep my 10 and 12 year old engaged as well as enough to satisfy my intellectual curiosity. Private tour was perfect for this activity and well worth the extra money.

5.00Our tour guide, Carlos, met us at the train station and then orchestrated car rides around the city so we could see the view of Toledo and then had us start the tour at the opposite end of where everyone else was touring so we wouldn’t have to wait in king lines or the heat! He was very knowledgeable about Toledo and all of the art work. It was very clear that he has a love of art and was so knowledgeable about all of the details. He also recommended great restaurants and ice cream. He also saved the day by arranging a taxi back to Madrid as the trains were completely booked on the return. Make sure you reserve ahead! It was a great day and even the teens paid attention!
A must tour if you are in Madrid!

5.00Loved this tour! Toledo was a beautiful city! So many picturesque locations both on the outskirts of the city and within. The cathedral was jaw dropping beautiful. We had one person with ADA needs. She was able to walk around this city. Had some hills but was doable. Van was clean and cool. Drive was a little over an hour from Madrid.
