Toledo is one of the oldest and most beautifully preserved cities in Spain, home to monuments, museums and works of art that span millennia – from Roman ruins to spectacular Gothic cathedrals, mosques and synagogues, as well as narrow cobbled streets and romantic squares. Our guided tour is a walk through the Christian, Jewish and Muslim quarters, with stops at the Alcázar, the mosque, the synagogues and the 13th-century cathedral. We will also explore the fantastic work of El Greco, complete with a visit to his masterpiece, The Burial of the Count of Orgaz, at the Church of Santo Tomé. The tour is rounded out with a visit to exclusive underground spaces and archaeological ruins, including 13th- century wells, Roman thermal baths, and many more magical places. Your guide will recommend the main monuments you can visit, but if you have a special cultural or religious preference, let us know and that’s where we’ll focus our efforts to make a tailor-made visit just for you.
Catedral Primada
Visit the interior of the Primate Cathedral of Spain and its museums (Treasure Room, Choir, Sacristy, Chapter House, etc), built in Gothic style in the thirteenth century, with an impressive sixteenth century facade. Thanks to the preferential access of our company, you will pass without waiting, skipping the ticket line.

5.00Toledo is a beautiful city and an easy day trip from Madrid. Without a guide you can miss a lot of what makes the city interesting, though. This tour was a perfect fit. For a small group or solo traveler, you can focus on what most appeals to you. We walked for about 3 hours, seeing key points of interest with an emphasis on the cathedral. Danny shared history and context throughout and made for an enjoyable afternoon.

5.00My family really enjoyed this personalized experience. We were picked up by a driver in a luxury van and met our tour guide in Toledo. We received a personalized tour of the city and our guide took great pictures of our family. Just the right amount of details to keep my 10 and 12 year old engaged as well as enough to satisfy my intellectual curiosity. Private tour was perfect for this activity and well worth the extra money.
