If you love adventure, nature, and taking stunning photos, don’t miss Gulong Gorge near Guangzhou. Located in Qingyuan, just 2 hours from city center and 90 km from Baiyun Airport, this scenic area is known as “China’s most thrilling gorge” and a top extreme outdoor park in South China.
The star attraction is the Yuntian Glass Bridge — a 1,314-meter-long glass walkway suspended over roaring waterfalls and deep valleys. Daredevils can also try the Sky Ladder and U-shaped Glass Platform for breathtaking photos.
For thrill seekers, the go-kart racing track offers high-speed action with jungle and cliff views. The highlight for many is the “Roller Coaster on Water” — a 6 km rafting course with a 378 m drop, delivering 30–40 minutes of twists, turns, and splashes.
With 95% forest coverage, Gulong Gorge is a natural oxygen bar, perfect for hiking and enjoying waterfalls. Suitable for couples, families, and groups (rafting for kids over 1M tall). Best time for rafting: April to October.

5.00The day started with a very punctual driver. He was very helpful and the trip was very smooth from start to finish. The kids enjoyed the roller coaster ride and go carting and the adults enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The day wasn’t overly crowded with people so that was a bonus and we could go at our own pace which allowed us to leave early to get back to the hotel for a rest and ready for dinner. The organizer communicated with us very well so that the day could run smoothly and stress free. I would highly recommend this tour if you are in Guangzhou and want beautiful scenery as well as entertainment for the kids.

5.00⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I really enjoyed this tour — it’s a great way to experience nature outside of Guangzhou. The scenery at Gulong Gorge is absolutely stunning, with dramatic cliffs, waterfalls, and beautiful green landscapes all around. The highlight for me was definitely the glass walkway and viewing platforms. The views from above are incredible and give you a completely different perspective of the canyon. It’s a bit adventurous but very safe and well maintained. Everything was well organized, from hotel pickup to transportation. The guide was helpful and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. I also appreciated that the tour was not rushed, so we had enough time to take photos and enjoy the surroundings. The cave visit was also interesting and added variety to the trip, making it more than just a nature walk. Overall, it’s a great combination of relaxation, sightseeing, and light adventure. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Guangzhou!
