Bulguksa Temple
Visit Bulguksa which is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site for being “a masterpiece of Buddhist art in the Far East.” If you are in the temple, you will see blooming cherry blossoms in spring and colorful foliage in fall.
Seokguram
In the Seokguram Grotto, you can see statues of devas, bodhisattvas and disciples sculpted on the surrounding walls. After that, you will have Tteokgalbi(grilled short rib patties) for lunch.

Enjoyable tour of ancient sites of the Silla kingdom

5.00Our guide, Wookie, picked us up and returned us to our hotel. In between, we were treated to historical tales of the Silla kingdom and the birth of the unified Korean kingdom. He carefully discussed what we would be able to achieve during the day, as the list of places to visit on TripAdvisor would not all be possible during a single day. I think we chose well. Incidentally, I'm glad we chose to stay in a hotel in Gyeongju city and many tour operators recommend large hotels well outside the centre. We were easily able to see many other attractions on foot from our hotel.

4.00Amazing tours of the Unesco sights and colorful autumn leaves. Our tour guide & driver, Kevin, was friendly, insightful & punctual. He was able to take us to all of the places listed on our itinerary & had a delicious lunch in between. Would love to revisit the Gyeongju area again someday sans crowds.

5.00Visiting these historical sites was absolutely amazing. What made it the best tour ever though was having Joy as our guide. Joy brought the experience to life by providing exceptional insights, historical facts, and passion to truly understand and appreciate what we were seeing.

5.00Our guide, Mr. Goh, was the best guide we've had on our trip to Japan and Korea. He spoke excellent English, and was highly knowledgeable about the history of Korea, and had in-depth wisdom on Buddhism, which was very helpful on our visits to the many temples. He was also flexible, and accommodated our requests to meet our friend at a later time, and taking us to a vegetarian restaurant for lunch. We are indeed very fortunate to have had him as our guide !
