The Hakodateyama Ropeway will be out of service from October 9 to November 9 due to statutory maintenance. During this period, tours will use Hakodate buses instead.

This tour will take you around Hakodate's main sightseeing areas by streetcar, bus and ropeway. You can walk through each area, feeling the history of Japan from the end of the Edo Shogunate, the prosperity of the Meiji Era, and the end of the war to the present.

Admission and transportation fees are included in the tour fee.

In addition, local guides will carefully guide you so that you can concentrate on exploring Hakodate!

The tour involved extensive walking and city bus travel, which was not clearly stated in the description. This should be highlighted for travelers to set accurate expectations. 2. When booking from the United States, it appeared that lunch was included, but upon arrival in Japan, we learned it was not. This caused some confusion and should be clarified in the listing. 3. For the price point, we expected a more curated experience with a clearer focus on food exploration. We hope Viator updates the tour description to ensure future travelers can make an informed decision.
