Imposing red brick 50-foot-high gates remaining from a 14th to 15th century. Here, we will bring you to have a closer look and explore the structure of this site that makes historian describe this as a gate rather than a temple.
Once believed to be the crematorium for the deceased king, this red brick temple was built even before Majapahit was existed. As the name suggested, this place is sacred place and still used during Majapahit period. That's why we will bring you here to explore why theory of this place being the crematorium was mostly false.

5.00We went to 7 Candi and monuments within 6 hours and the distance between each one was really close to each other. Amazing temples and very unique in Indonesia. The driver (think his name is Ryan) did an amazing job to bring us around. he was really patient even though we over run the expected tour time. Trippy Trip Tour really did a great job in complying all these great sites in half a day. The only set back was the driver driving too fast and cut in other cars with very little space in between, a common way of driving in Indonesia!

5.00We booked the tour of the Ruins of the Majapahit Kingdom in April.We were collected at the Surabaya cruise port and had a very enjoyable day. Our guide was Srengenge a young man who was very knowledgeable and explained everything in excellent English in a very friendly manner. We were back at the ship in good time after an excellent day.

5.00Exactly what was promised. Sites interesting. Our guide, Nael, was fun and interesting with lots of knowledge about them. He was a great conversationalist with excellent understanding of English. This was so much better than a ship's excursion as there was just the two of us.

The tour was well-paced, covering key historical sites while giving us time to absorb the rich history and cultural significance of each location. Nael was not only informative but also engaging, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. He was always happy to answer our questions and provided historical context we wouldn’t have learned just by visiting on our own. The logistics were seamless, with comfortable transportation and well-planned stops. If you're interested in Indonesian history, this tour is a must-do! We are grateful to Nael for an unforgettable experience and highly recommend this one-of-a-kind tour to anyone visiting Surabaya. We were also impressed by the tour company itself, which is run by enthusiastic young people who are truly passionate about sharing Indonesia’s history and culture. 5.00Even before the tour started, both Vincent and Nael were super friendly and communicative from the get-go. I started this tour straight from the airport, where Nael welcomed me warmly. Nael picked me up, despite my flight being delayed by a few hours—poor guy waited quite a while, but he was still all smiles, literally! During the car ride, we had some great conversations—from the sites to Indonesia’s history and culture in general. Nael was also super accommodating with my requests, making the experience feel personalized and relaxed. I strongly recommend this trip and this smiling guide!
