Once believed to be the crematorium for the deceased king, this red brick temple was built even before Majapahit was existed. As the name suggested, this place is sacred place and still used during Majapahit period. That's why we will bring you here to explore why theory of this place being the crematorium was mostly false.

4.00The sites were marvelous, well tended, albeit I wish they had signs in English. We had 2 guides, one was clearly more knowledgeable, and more comfortable in English than the other. But both were very well meaning and tried to ensure we had a good experience

5.00If you are in Surabaya you must book this tour! My guides Ryan and Dea went above and beyond to make this a memorable tour, which it absolutely was. They are really passionate about their culture and history and it shows. I came away learning a lot about the history of the Majapahit period and culture of the area and Indonesia, visiting incredible temples and interesting museums. They were both so happy to answer all my many questions.

4.00Seeing Gates and Temples one of which was set in a nice garden and an open air museum. Seeing the countryside. The tour guide was good when promted for information sometimes.
