This is the perfect trip if you want to see the Andes without too much physical effort. It is a half day trip, mostly a road trip with a couple of short walking to great lookouts. We are going to plant a native tree in Patagonia for each member of the group while you are hiking in order to compensate the co2 generated.

We are going to stop in a nice lookout where we will provide you binoculars to see some scenic peaks inside Yerba Loca Park, like, La Paloma Glacier. Also Condor encounters are common here.

5.00We saw Condors up close and flying both below and above the spot from where we were watching. Christabel was an outstanding guide as well as being a very interesting person. On this trip there are many quiet aces with great Andes vistas. Christabel was an outstanding guide.
Brilliant condor photo trip to the snowy Andes

5.00We wanted to photograph the condor and Matias Silva organised a private tour. Our guide, Frank Normann, was excellent and we drove for 90 minutes up to Valle Nevado. Nothing there. We then descended to Farellones and for a couple of hours saw many condors quite close, with one male perching on the nearby hotel. On the way down Frank spotted a pair of eagles. We stopped and we also saw a pair of foxes.
Fun morning exploring on horseback

5.00We had a wonderful morning riding horses just outside of Santiago. The weather was not great so we couldn’t see the Andean mountain vistas but it was fun to explore nature. The horses were friendly and our guide, Therese, who owned the stables was great to talk to. A native of the US, she’s been in chile for decades and shared lots of information about the area. Later we had some wine and cheese in the barn. We also enjoyed meeting the stable cats (Nacho, specifically) and our guide dog, Max.

5.00The tour was excellent. The guide, Alejandro Garcia made the experience extremely good with all the information that passed us as well as his knowledge and great good mood. It was also very quiet the trip conducted by Antônio Llanos. Excellent driver, which left us very calm.

5.00Our trip to valle Nevada with Frank was Super !! We had a fantastic day 👏👏👏 He brought us to the nicest spots for wonderful pictures with very beautiful scenery in the mountains, explained many things about the area and we enjoyed the wine and cheese picnic very much. Not only for the nice wine and tasty cheese , but especially his company too ! We will recommend this trip with Frank to everybody who visits the Santiago area as a must do !! 5.00The most amazing trip to the Andes. Our guide took us to a remote part where we saw many many condors. We hiked the grassland to admire the flower and fauna. A fox even spied us. And a roaming horse befriended us.we then sat down with wine and a bountiful tray of cheese et al. Best was the 360 view of the Andes all by ourselves!!. No one. Just us and the view. Ps our guide was amazing...but i forgot his name

5.00We wanted to get out of Santiago to go into the Andes, but didn’t have a lot of time. Our guide Nick, took us to 3000 meters where we saw condors and then had an absolute blast drinking wine and eating cheese and crackers, looking out over the mountains. Nick was the best tour guide, who knows perfect English and haves Ua insights into so many things. I really recommend this tour!!

5.00This was a nice experience to show my brazilian collegues the mountains surrounding Santiago. We even were able to watch some foxes and flying cóndores. We stopped in a beautiful spot to share some wine and cheese. Everything was lovely, thank you!
