  As the listing says, it was a very long day, but worth every minute! Incredibly beautiful area that looks right out of a postcard. Marco gave great information about things we passed in Vienna and did his best to break up the long drive. Alexandra was also a fantastic guide, and it was pretty special to hear about Hallstatt from someone who grew up there. Both were truly wonderful. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see Hallstatt from Vienna! I do want to say that people should remember there are families who live in Hallstatt- touring the small town means you are walking around their homes. It was sad to see that many tourists didn’t care about that as we watched them enter closed gates into peoples yards to take photos of themselves. Our guides made sure we knew this, but it was clear people touring on their own might not have had the benefit of this information (or disregarded it if they had it). Again, can’t recommend this tour enough!

  Hallstatt was incredible. It was definitely worth doing the tour to learn more about the town and its history, but wish we had a little more time there. The salt mine and skywalk were closed, and it would have been nice knowing that ahead of time.

  Joined the day trip tour to Hallstatt and the trip was nice. The driver Roman was nice and funny, his introduction to few spots en route and solid driving skills certainly make the trip even better. Drop off point for breakfast was nice and Unterach was a nice place to take some good pictures which reminded me the lakes in Switzerland. One hour walk with tour guide was included in Hallstatt and enough time (2.5 hrs) was given for exploring around by ourselves. All in all, nice tour and not to mention the hotel pick up and drop off was awesome and convenient.

  Our day trip to Hallstatt was an excellent experience! Our driver Roman made the trip extremely smooth, he was very knowledgeable and helpful and answered all of our questions while making the trip fun on the drive! Pick up was very easy with excellent communication ahead of time with timing details and what to expect. This is a long day around 12 hours in total from pick up to drop off but was well worth it! Hallstatt was beautiful and exceeded our expectations! When in town you receive a short guided tour then have free time to explore on your own. Definitely recommend this experience!

  So pleased we broke away from our cruise ship for a relaxed very small group tour. Comfortable van, lots of time on your own following a historic village tour of each village.

  It is without a doubt that I booked this small tour group right! I was fetched by a different tour guide who was quite the gentleman, Balazs, who took me to the main tour guide, Peter, who was also a gentleman, fantastic, knowledgeable & always helpful when we needed something; he also drove us excellently and safely whilst being an amazing tour guide! In Hallstatt, we had a different tour guide due to their local tourism rule over there. She was also brilliant and accommodating to our group. The people in our group ( there were 7 of us) were all so lovely as well that some of us ended up having lunch in Hallstatt together and even exploring the Rathausplatz Christmas market in Vienna after the trip. I would definitely recommend this trip as you won’t only see & experience Hallstatt for the day but you’d also see the other magnificent lakes in Austria’s lake district. Very grateful to have had the experience of a lifetime!

  When traveling to Austria, this day trip was a must do. Saw some of the most beautiful towns Austria has to offer. Would definitely recommend to other travelers
