Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum
Part 1: Hanoi Highlights: (2 hours) You will be greeted by the tour guide and driver at your hotel lobby we then ride to Ho Chi Minh Complex to have a quick visit to Ho chi Minh mausoleum – the Mecca of Vietnamese, Ba Dinh square, Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh Residential area and One Pillar Pagoda. 1. Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Closed every Monday and Friday, and annually from mid-June to mid-August. Open to visitors five days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays) from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM only. 2. Can we see Hanoi Train Street? Watching the train pass through the famous Train Street is included in all afternoon tours, as well as Monday and Friday morning tours (when the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed). Train Street also serves as an alternative activity if the Mausoleum is closed, or if you prefer NOT to wait in the long queue to enter.
Temple of Literature & National University
After Ho Chi Minh Complex, we move to Temple Of Literature, a 1000 year-old iconic architecture of Hanoi to learn about Vietnamese long-standing culture and history.

5.00We had an Amazing Jeep Tour! Way above my expectations. We started out having a great lunch at Hidden Gem. Delicious local food and a fun atmosphere. We then toured around, stopping a several locations. We learned a lot about Hanoi from our wonderful tour guide Riley. Mr Fong did an amazing job driving us safely from place to place. Jeep is comfortable and driving around with the open space felt great! The stops were great and there were many opportunities for photography. Train bridge was beautiful, train street was so great to sit and have a yummy salted coffee while we waited for the train to pass by. Can’t say enough great things about this tour! Thank you Riley and Mr. Fong.
Waste of Money. Don't bother. Get the Hop on Hop off bus tour.

2.00Don't bother. Honestly the guide we had was either not interested in sharing site info or history of sites like the school of Literature and most of the sites. The Hop on Hop of bus with their guide was far better and price was 10% of the cost of this Jeep ride.
Great fun in a real Jeep!

5.00Our tour guide Anni gave us such an informative tour, especially about the Vietnam American War, the Vietnamese Resistance. Train Street was an amazing experience, a real photo opportunity! We ended up at the Hidden Gem cafe, very quirky with delicious food. How our driver managed to navigate through the crowded busy streets was incredible! Thank you very much, it certainly was a fun tour.

5.00Today we took the half day hidden gem jeep tour of Hanoi. Our guide JIM and driver Mr Suc were both amazing. Jim was so knowledgeable, he explained all of the history of all the places we visited. First he took us to the train street, this has to be a go to location. Would not get this anywhere else. He then took us to the 1000 year old university where he explained the meanings of all the different areas. We then went to the Ho Chi Min mausoleum. We spent some time here visiting all the attractions, again Jim was so knowledgeable. To finish he took us to the hidden jem coffee shop. An amazing place full of of recycled furniture from bikes and tractors. In between all the attractions we were skillfully driven around in an old Vietnamese army jeep which added to the experience. When the trip unfortunately came to an end, Jim gave us several recommendations all of which we will try. If coming to Hanoi, we would highly recommend you should take this trip. Ask for Jim if you can. Keith and Bridget

5.00It’s a great way to see Hanoi city - we both really enjoyed ourselves. Freddie was a fabulous tour guide and Tan the best driver!! We loved Hidden Gem (those yummy coffees), the activities, and most importantly hearing about the history of Hanoi.

5.00The guests had a comprehensive view of Hanoi—from important monuments to its quaint neighborhoods. It’s a must for those who want to experience the city in a nutshell. Lunch and refreshments included in the package! Freddie our tour guide and Dat our driver were the perfect combo in bringing us around town, getting us informed as well as keeping us safe the entire time. A definite must-do!
