We loved this food tour! It is our go to food tour for visiting family and friends. We live in Hanoi so have been many times but each time go to new and delicious places. The guides are great and make it fun and educational!

This tour is a must do particularly for Westerners not familiar with Vietnamese food. Our tour guide Brian was a real foodie and also love his history of Hanoi and Vietnam. A lot of fun and well recommended.

We loved our experience on this tour - Brian was super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and the tour was generally very well thought out (including to make sure that you had enough space in the stomach to keep going and strolls with sightseeing in between for culture and digestion along the way, which was just perfect!). We sampled so many local items that we never would have otherwise, tiny little back street alleys where only locals were eating and which we could never have navigated without an expert to help us. Brian was also very generous with providing us with tips and guidance for other things to do in Hanoi and more broadly in Vietnam, which was greatly appreciated! Thanks so much Brian, happy new year! Definitely recommend this as a way to spend a day in Hanoi - I would suggest going early in your trip to make the most of what you learn and to definitely come on an empty stomach.

I booked a couple of private tours through A Taste of Hanoi and couldn’t be more pleased. Brian does a fantastic job crafting experiences that feel unique and far from the typical tourist circuit, and he has a wonderful team of guides who bring everything to life. I’ve been on a lot of food tours, and this was by far the best. I highly recommend A Taste of Hanoi—I can’t wait to come back and try more of their one-of-a-kind offerings.

We ate so much food! Son was such an amazing guide. If you like trying food that is unique to Hanoi then tour is for you. Son took us to local eateries and gave us a true foodie experience trying different food and drinks we did not know existed. Son was also very knowledgeable about Vietnam and excellent guide. We learned a lot about history, architecture and most importantly food! We finished the tour VERY full, knowing a lot more about the culture and history, and ready to experience and try more food. We highly recommend this tour and thank Son for giving us this amazing experience.

Amazing experience with Cherry! She brought us to local places to try dishes that we wouldn’t have known about. We visited around 7 spots in 3 hours. Cherry accommodated our dietary restrictions and still gave us a great time. Highly recommend this tour! My family and I tried so many tasty dishes and are raving about this tour.

We booked a private tour and the guide was incredible at accommodating our group, which included kids ages 4-11. We enjoyed touring the old quarter and trying different street foods. It was a great mix of savory and sweet.

The street food tour with our tour guide Jenny was top! Jenny is so friendly, open and funny and she has led us to various stalls with super delicious food. It also tells a lot of interesting information about the country and people and the culture of Hanoi and Vietnam. Fully recommended!
