Water Puppetry is a traditional art form with distinctive culture identity of Vietnam. It came into existence, developed and diversified over a thousand years ago in the Red River Delta. 4.00The show itself was great! Entertaining and fun. Yes touristy, but we are tourists here and loved it. I suspect Charming Vietnam oversells the tickets as we paid using the Viator app then almost immediately got a WhatsApp message from Charming asking if we could change the time of our booking; we could not, so we attended the next day instead. Getting the tickets at the theatre was also somewhat confusing but it all worked out and we enjoyed the show! I removed one star for the ticketing issues.

2.00I booked through trip advisor 2 VIP tickets that said row A and tickets were available 10 mins before show starts.. When we arrived we were given seats in row D when I asked why the staff showed little interest, the show started so very little else but sit behind a woman with the biggest hair ever … As to the show it was okay

5.00The puppetry is very skillful and the stage is very unique with well-played traditional instruments and singing techniques. The audio explanations (extra cost) are well worth it to understand what each story is about.

5.00Most unique musical performance ♥️😊♥️ our family truly enjoyed it and appreciated it very much. What an amazing beautiful experience. My most favourite part was the first performance of Đàn Bầu perhaps because it brought back memories of my very talented and loving grandpa who used to play this instrument for me when I was a little child. My ausie husband and our kids also loved this show and learned a lot about Vietnam culture from it. Highly recommended. Thank you 🙏🏻

5.00If purchasing ticket from cash office its cash only. The show is entertaining, the seats are comfortable and its great value for what you pay even if you buy the best seats. Amazing synchronization Highly recommended

5.00Read all the ticket delivery options and issues but really we just passed by the ticket office and was able to see what shows and dates and seats were available ! The ticket office uses large paper sheets ! No computer system. The show and music are just charming with various scenes that are explained in the English pamphlet you can pick up ! The orchestra is lovely and the puppets colourful and funny . We were in row O near the back and still had a good view ! Enjoy .
