Heineken Experience
The Heineken Experience is housed in the first built Heineken brewery in the city centre of Amsterdam. In 1988 the brewery closed due to inability to cover high demand and since 1991 it has been welcoming visitors from all over the world. Now, it is a guided journey through the world of Heineken®. You can discover the history of the HEINEKEN Company, the 4 natural ingredients of our beer, the brewing process, a tasting room, the Heineken® brand and the partnerships with UEFA Champions League and James Bond. And of course at the end of the tour you can enjoy 2 Heinekens or learn how draught the perfect Heineken®. The Heineken Experience is a guided tour in English. It is also possible to download the Heineken Experience app in 9 different languages. There are also tablets for rent that feature the app.

5.00We did the VIP Tour. Would highly recommend. Our Tour Guide Susan was brilliant. She was very friendly, bubbly and very informative. We learned a lot from her and see Heineken in a whole new light now. Would really recommend if in Amsterdam.

5.00The Heineken Experience was well organized and highly enjoyable. We especially liked the interactive elements of the tour, including the tasting and brewing simulation, which were a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and engaging, and ending the tour with a cold beer was a great touch. Sharing that drink with welcoming people from around the world made the experience even more memorable.

5.00Learning the history of Heineken was very interesting. We loved amusing experience of becoming a bottle of Heineken. Our visit included a trip to the rooftop and a couple more samples of Heineken beer. The view was spectacular and the beer was cold and delicious.

5.00We loved the Heineken experience! We had just done Guinness’ back in Ireland, so we knew we had to give this one a try to compare. This was a much smaller group of people to wade through and personally, much more organized. They start you off in a group with a guide explaining the story of Heineken, though you are not required to stay with the group and can move on at your own pace (which we didn’t). They had a 3D/ride experience where you “become a bottle of Heineken,” which was fun. You even pass by stations where you can play interactive games or customize your own Heineken bottle. You got two drinks with this experience, one about halfway through the walkthrough, the other at the end, which I really enjoyed. It was fun, I would go if you can make time for it!
Loved the VIP Experience. Must see when in Amsterdam!!

5.00Enjoyed learning about Heineken's history and touring the place where the beer use to be made, and learning how it was made. The VIP tasting was very good and then the "interactive experience" was better than expected. The custom engraved Heineken bottle was a nice keepsake. Definitely a must do when in Amsterdam!!!

3.00The tour company was responsive in changing my ticket date since I made a mistake. The tour itself was wack. Hundred of people are let in at once and have of the tine you can’t hear the tour guide because not all the people can stand in the location where the tour guide stand to inform. There a place you enter that look like a ride the close the doors and you are standing there looking at the wall that shows basically nothing good. I will not recommend this tour because it’s boring, not so informative and is too much of a large group that makes this tour not a good one.

5.00Educational and So much fun…you’ll be surprised! It was an amazing experience! It was very interactive! My hubby won the instructor’s glass of beer for giving the satisfactory answers to his questions. Hahaha
