Frankly i felt like it was more of a”take you there “ than an interesting local insiders view of the places we visited. I was expecting a more in depth descriptions of the places we visited. I also found the location of pick up and drop off inconvenient to the center, which is really where most tourists stay. The overall feeling was of being hurried. We were always meeting up with other tourists groups so i expect this has more to do with percentages being paid for products other than actual authenticity.

It was great! All the places were stunning! Probably my least favorite was the mezcal distillery. The guide was very nice!

Really enjoyable full-day tour. This is a long day and takes in five activities, a mix of scenic and cultural, all of them well worth doing. Miguel was a great guide! Even the buffet lunch is good (often you get rubbish on these tours), giving you the chance to try lots of different regional specialities

We booked this tour based on glowing reviews and recommendations—and wow, it absolutely did not disappoint. Adriel is truly one of a kind. His English is California-perfect, and his pride and passion for Oaxaca—its culture, history, and food—are unmatched. He brings BIG, contagious energy to the experience. My husband and I half-joked that we wanted to adopt him 😂. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and has an amazing ability to read the group’s vibe, sharing as much (or as little) depth as you want. We had a thousand questions, and he answered every one with patience, enthusiasm, and genuine joy. The tour itself is fantastic—visiting several historical sites with detailed, thoughtful explanations that really bring the area to life. One small heads-up: the pools are cold… refreshing, but cold! Don José was also wonderful—courteous, pleasant, and professional throughout the entire day. Together, they make an outstanding team. A friendly reminder to future guests: please be on time, respect the schedule, and tip generously—these guys absolutely earn it. Highly, highly recommend!

This was a great tour - our guide Andrea was funny and knowledgeable. She shared I formation as we were driving to the sites and was available for questions at each stop - but the tour builds in time for exploring in your own. Everything ran very smoothly. The hike down to the base of the Falls at Hierve de Agua is steep, but not rough. Be prepared to walk a lot of steps! The falls are worth the climb. Mitla was fascinating, the textile stop was great with a demonstration of dying and weaving. I don't think I could pick a favorite stop! And lunch had lots of gluten free and vegetarian options. Overall, great experience

It's a long day but very rewarding, the area around the tule tree is lovely, and I would definitely recommend doing at least the smaller hike in Hierve el agua to get the full scale of the 'falls'. The Mezcal tasting is great, and really fun. Our tour guide was excellent, always ready to answer questions without taking too much time.

This was a wonderful and full but really flowing day. Our tour guide Andrea was awesome and helpful and everyone in the tour gelled really well! We got to see almost everything we wanted in just one day and the vibes were high the entire time- starting with the service at the cute cafe that is situated in Oaxaca by Locals. Weather was perfect and we learned so much about the rich culture of this region of Oaxaca from the Zapotecs to contemporary time. The tree is also a spiritual experience… it has such a profound energy. I recommend this experience -100 percent!
