Beautiful site but challenging hike

1.00This was a much more challenging walk/hike than expected, with some extremely steep and icy sections. The provided ice spikes were of poor quality, and many people in our (too large) group had issues with them. We had an injury in our party (due to less than ideal path-finding from the guides) and only one of the guides was helpful for the required first aid (note that the guides didn’t have any first aid kits with them). One guide was actually hostile and yelled at the injured party to hurry up- extremely unprofessional. More experienced guides would have assessed the group and provided some options for safer routes.

3.00The tour guide Gigi was incredible. The views and the location were beautiful. However. The group size (20) was much too large for this activity. There were at least 4 languages being spoken on a tour and the guide managed to make us all feel included (barely). However it meant the day went much longer. And the group was less managed than we would like (for safety and experience). The gear was mostly broken and lacking, and overall the day was disappointing for the price.

5.00It was a wonderful experience.. immersed in the Lapland forest. All thanks to our guides Tommaso and Joana who were able to tell us and make us experience the magic of this fantastic place!

4.00We stayed in this nature reserve with a 5 km loop route. There are flat points and more challenging climbs and descents. The frozen waterfalls are a unique sight. Afterwards an outdoor barbecue that demonstrates how, in this extreme land, outdoor experiences can be realized despite the cold wind! Thanks to Pamela who was able to guide us in this challenging but memorable day!

5.00A great hike despite cloudy weather. The guide was great took the time to explain the vegetation, to wait for everyone during the walk. A bit far away but it’s worth it and there are not many people so we take the time. Group of 8 which makes it possible to do a nice hike

5.00Excellent way to experience the outdoors near Rovaniemi. It is a long hike. The path have parts that are steep and icy and you need to be careful. Our guides Alex and Julia were awesome and took good care of our group. Making sure everyone stayed safe and had fun. We enjoyed this a lot more than we thought we would. Highly reccommend!

5.00Beautiful excursion even if you changed location because path too icy and dangerous the one booked. It was nice to immerse yourself completely in nature, discovering routes and enchanting landscapes. The Viki guide, who accompanied us, very nice, prepared and helpful. He told us so much about Lapland and reindeer. Bravo Viki, nice to meet you. Viviana and Manu

5.00Very good walk through the forests of Rovaniemi, luckily the weather was good and it wasn't very cold, we were at 0 degrees (hot?). Our Guide Laura R. was a 10, very attentive the entire time with the entire group, the elderly people, and a tourist with asthma problems. We finished with a cup of cream of mushroom soup and reindeer salami sandwich with cheese (and some marshmallows on the fire).
