️ We will arrive in a 4x4 vehicle, walking across three lagoons: JURI KHOTA (4730), SLOVENIA (4900 m), until we reach the VENTANNI GLACIER lagoon (5010 m).
OUR ITINERARY:
Departure time: 6:00 am
Travel time: 2.5 hours
Duration walk : 5 - 6 hours
Return time: 3 : 00 pm. approx.
Arrival time (La Paz): 6:00 pm. approx.
Difficulty: Moderate. Hike at altitude (4,700 to 5,010 m).
Distance: 9 km (round trip).
Cumulative gradient: + 300 m.

5.00Absolutely loved this hike!! Abdón is an incredible guide; he knows the mountains surrounding La Paz like the back of his hand. These mountains are very special and are a great way to escape the city life when in La Paz. Although hiking in the Cordillera Real can be a challenge, you are in good hands with Abdón, as he has many different options for each hike according to your abilities and desires. Everything is taken care of; private transport, food, park passes, etc. Abdón is very knowledgeable about the land surrounding La Paz and has some great recommendations for restaurants in the city. Definitely book this over a group tour for the best personalized experience.

5.00Had an amazing day with Abdon hiking high in the Cordillera Real. The guy is super knowledgeable, is passionate (and rightly so) about the beauty of the Bolivian Andes, and is so easy to get along with. It is a challenging hike, but If you’re looking for an authentic experience with breathtaking views, this one is for you.

5.00The views were beautiful, The guide was very attentive and adapted to our pace and what we wanted to see, plus he had brought delicious homemade cake and fruit for our break. On the way back, it brought us to a viewpoint of the magnificent paz. He also took pictures of us and gave them to us! Guide punctual; professional and close to nature and its conservation! Everything was perfect. I recommend!!!

5.00The experience of Ventanani Glacier with Abdon was impressive and all thanks to him. He passed us looking for super-struts in a new 4x4 vehicle, treated us excellently, had all the patience in the world and had no problem working more hours for us without even asking for anything. A simple and special person who managed to bring us the most beautiful thing from Bolivia with every gesture. He also prepared delicious snacks for a picnic on the shores of the Slovenian Lagoon (dream). Ah the landscapes... From another planet 👌👌
