Have you ever dreamed to spend a unforgettable moment with huskies surrounded by incredible nature?
On this hike, we take some dogs for a walk (or he takes you?) in the countryside, by the sea, surrounded by mountains view, up into our local forest. (We won´t see polar bears but we might see horses and sheeps.)
After the walk, we will spend the second part of the visit with all the dogs at home, where you can take pictures, cuddle with the dogs and talk more about all the things the dogs do all year around.

Take some time to hang with huskies in this unique experience in North Iceland. In this particular tour, you won’t just be meeting a working dog, you will be meeting a member of the family. This hike is the perfect combination of nature, you will have mountains, sea, countryside, forest and fresh air. At the same time, the husky is leading you on and you will feel the bound, power and friendliness, streeming from the dog. After the hike you will have time to meet the rest of the dogs, at the house, were the dogs live with their owners. You can take as many pictures as you want and at the same time cuddle up with our gorgeous huskies on this tour to an icelandic home, just outside of Akureyri. Both children and adults will love this tour. Huskies are very intelligent, curious and friendly, making this the perfect tour for families.

5.00AMAZING experience! My daughter and I took this excursion last summer while we were on an Icelandic cruise. We are returning this summer and we can't wait to do it again. The owners/guides were friendly and kind. We had lots of time to play with the dogs before heading out on the hike. The dogs were so playful and sweet. It was the highlight of our trip.

5.00Amazing and lovely people that can talk for hours about their dogs. Dogs are super fun to be around and are super cute. If you are in Akureyri DO NOT SKIP THIS.

5.00Absolutely amazing time with the huskies and their owners! So lovely, so informative and the dogs were just gorgeous and such a pleasure to hike with. From the welcome to the hiking gear and pats at the whole experience was exceptional. Recommend as a must do experience. This is such a down to earth experience where you get to really enjoy the dogs and learn all about them with this friendly and passionate owners.

5.00Gunni and Maria, both most delightful, welcomed us into their home sharing their love and enthusiasm for all things husky. We had plenty of time for petting and cuddling before our hike and my daughter and I would go back in a heartbeat if Akureyri wasn’t so far from Chicago. The best is all their huskies live in the house with Gunni and Maria, not in a kennel and are all very happy, healthy, extremely friendly and well trained.

5.00I had the best day walking the huskies along a picturesque track. Gunni and Maria were very hospitable back at their husky farm. The dogs loved having us around and patting them. Great for adults and families.

5.00It was so fun meeting all the Huskies and seeing all their excitement when new people came around or even when the other dogs were playing with each other. They were so funny all wanting attention and competing for attention and wanting pets. The hike itself was great! I loved taking an easy stroll through the forest with some excited huskies! They were so excited and friendly. Definitely glad I found this as an option. And Gunnar and Maria were great to talk to while there. And Gunnar gave us a lot of good info about Iceland while walking with him

5.00A fantastic experience with 28 Huskies! Gunni and Mara were the perfect hosts, very friendly and welcoming to their home and beautiful dogs. If you love dogs, this is the activity for you. I could have happily spent the whole day here.

5.00Absolutely brilliant! If you like dogs this is the trip for you! Amazing to have so many well behaved dogs in one place and around you. The hike with them was a great experience and one we will not forget! Definitely recommend!!
