We begin the day with our city loop tour where we will provide guided commentary as we explore the streets of Hobart and visit its major attractions and landmarks. Our first destination is the awe-inspiring kunanyi, also known as Mt. Wellington, where you can indulge in the renowned pristine air of Tasmania. Ascend to the pinnacle at 1272m and be mesmerised by the breathtaking panoramic view of Hobart and its picturesque surroundings. Don't miss the opportunity to capture the perfect Instagram-worthy selfie against this stunning backdrop of Hobart and beyond.
Saturdays only - Next, we'll venture to the renowned Salamanca Market. This world-class market showcases the very best of Tasmanian culture, offering a delightful array of art, local produce, talented buskers, unique souvenirs, refreshing beverages, and much more!
After exploring the market's offerings for 75 minutes, we will continue our journey through the scenic Coal River Valley wine region. This region is renowned for its award winning cool climate wines. Along the way, we will make a quick stop at the acclaimed Wicked Cheese, where you can enjoy a complimentary cheese sampling and an opportunity to purchase some local produce from the farm Gate cafe. Then, we will proceed to the historic township of Richmond, which is rich in convict history and showcases magnificent sandstone and colonial buildings. Here, you will have the opportunity to admire Australia's oldest bridge and Catholic church. Richmond is also home to numerous charming eateries, making it the perfect spot for our lunch break. Additionally, we highly recommend visiting the Drink Tasmania Tasting House, where you can indulge in tastings of the region's finest wines, whisky, and local produce.
But the real magic of the day comes later, when we visit the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. Here, you’ll get up close and personal with some of Tasmania and Australia’s most iconic wildlife. It’s a rare opportunity to meet these incredible creatures in their natural habitat, including the cheeky and elusive Tasmanian Devil. You’ll be captivated by their energy and learn about the sanctuary’s important work in conservation. From the friendly kangaroos that love a cuddle to the adorable koalas and curious wombats, Bonorong is an experience that truly connects you with the heart of Tasmania. It’s a chance to create memories with these remarkable animals that you’ll carry with you long after the day ends.

5.00He was a very kind and experienced guide and we had a great day. Bruni Island in autumn, with its foliage, is a quiet, naturally rich place, with some beautiful beaches, and the raw oysters from there were exceptionally delicious.

4.00Skyr was a lovely driver with a sweet personality. I wish she would have given us more information about Hobart and Tasmania as we drove. She gave us some information when we got to the destinations, but not much commentary as we drove past many places. The Borango reserve was interesting and what a unique experience feeding the Roos. Unfortunately it rained so our view at the top of the mountain was cloudy and we really didn’t see anything.

3.00Skye was very pleasant, but she did not offer a guided tour. However, she offered very limited information while driving and did not go with the guests on the first stop, she just pointed (it was raining, maybe she did not want to get wet). The final stop she walked with us after our request, but did not add any information during the walk to the wildlife refuge. This was not so much a round as a bur ride to 3 areas in Hobart.

5.00Didn’t realize I hadn’t wrote a review for this tour! An absolute blast that goes all over Tasmania & showcases a lot of great locations. If you’re limited on time in Tassie, this is a great tour to see a ton of sights to feel like you’ve got your monies worth.
