This full-day kayak trip from Phuket starts at midday to avoid the crowds, with a convenient pickup service by luxury air-conditioned minivan from the entire Phuket Island. Don’t eat lunch, as you will be served a healthy and nutritious meal onboard the comfortable and modern twin-engine escort boat after leaving from Ao Po Pier. During the boat ride you will watch a raptor show and get a detailed briefing about the nature and geological site of Phang Nga Bay. Learn the basic do’s and don’ts of how to securely enter the caves and hongs. Start the first kayaking session with your well-educated and experienced guide through limestone caves and lagoons in the dramatic setting at Panak Island. The hand-made kayaks are specially designed for your trip, and you can feel absolutely safe because there was never a capsize, a puncture or any accident. Your professional guide paddles you and your partner through 'Tidal Nape' sea caves inside Phang Nga Bay’s marine limestone karstic islands into 'hongs' (Thai for room). The hidden cliff-lined lagoons are populated with macaques, water monitors, kingfishers, mud-skippers, egrets, sea eagles and brahminy kites. Return to the escort boat and move on to the second island with two more caves and hongs to explore. You will finish after dark by floating your own self-made flower “Krathong” in a spiritual and spectacular natural light show. Guests say that the evening Loi Kratong ceremony complete with fireflies and dinoflagellates (bio-luminescent plankton) is a 'spiritual experience'. Eat a delicious seafood/vegan buffet on the trip back, you return to the pier two hours after sunset. Only the highest-quality ingredients are used to prepare the lunch and dinner, fresh from the local market. Seafood is net caught and chickens are free range. Brown, red, and black rice is served with homemade Massaman curry. 5.00There are 3 separate canoe rides with the first being the longest at 1hr. 2nd one is about 30-40 minutes and the last one is just under 30 min. Plenty of good food and water.
Wonderful trip seeing some of Thailand’s natural beauty.

5.00Wonderful day seeing some of the natural beauty of Thailand. Our guide Bookie was amazing and explained all about the places we were seeing and was excellent at manovering the canoe. Felt totally safe and looked after by him. Great trip. All of the staff on the boat were wonderful. We left from our day with our bellies full, with some amazing memories. Would recommend.

5.00Hong by Starlight was an absolutely magical experience and one of the highlights of our time in Phuket. From start to finish the scenery was incredible, dramatic limestone cliffs, hidden caves, tranquil lagoons and unforgettable views, especially as the light changed towards sunset and into the evening. The whole day was exceptionally well organised, with top-draw guides who were knowledgeable, friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. They made everyone feel safe, relaxed and involved, while sharing fascinating insights along the way. The food was excellent, far better than expected for a boat tour, and added to what was already an outstanding experience. Kayaking through the caves, floating our krathongs, and seeing the bay at night was truly special and something we’ll remember for a long time. An incredible day from start to finish, we would thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Phuket.

5.00This experience was incredible from start to finish! Our tour guide was amazing and explained what to expect at each step of the journey. Delicious lunch and dinner provided on board! We were taken around multiple beautiful sights on our kayak by our guide Adam who was delightful and very well informed. I would highly recommend doing this!

5.00Our family had an incredible time with John Gray Sea Canoe Hong by Starlight. I’m a non-swimmer and my family are beginner swimmers, but we felt completely safe and well looked after the entire time. The small-group tour was extremely well organized, calm, and professionally run. Nothing felt rushed, and the guides were always attentive and reassuring. Special thanks to Mr. Yu, our guide, who was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely caring. He made the experience smooth and enjoyable for everyone. The food served on the boat was excellent — fresh, tasty, and far better than expected. Exploring the hongs by starlight was absolutely magical and something we’ll never forget. Highly recommended for families, beginners, and anyone looking for a truly special experience.

5.00Met expectations and the food was more than sufficient and very nice. The trip was organised, facilities (bathrooms, dining, meeting area, seating) were all clean and appeared to be maintained. It's great that the company also supports locals, shout out to Asher for being our rower. He was friendly and kept us in the shade when it was hot.

5.00Do not stop at the price some may find it expensive but vs will get your money's worth!...Great excursions even for beginners (it is not you who paddle vs have 1 staff member who vs is dedicated for the day and will take care of you throughout the excursions)... and the same for the making of the kratong (and the overnight visit to the caves by kayak to put the kratong in the water c is magical but I will not say more)...Several buffet throughout the day with many tasty dishes...very fresh ...and in large quantity (and I have 1 hell of a fork stroke )...one of the best excursions of my life...to make and redo......magnificent ( plan camera .. battery .. hat ...sunscreen )....nice staff ..pleasant....nic......helpful ...always smile...provide 1 good tip for the one who will take care of you all day

4.00Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Well organised. We didn't realise that we wouldn't see James Bond beach due to the tides, so that was a bit disappointing. However, we got to see the bat cave, which was really cool. Our guide was friendly and informative, although the waves meant he got tired paddling us around (hey, we're not that heavy!) Food was plentiful and good variety
