5.00This was the best food tour we've been on. The food quality is really authentic and the portion size was excellent. The pace was perfect with breaks and even learned about history and tourist recommendations on the way. Summer our guide was really friendly, knowledgeable and communicated really well. She clearly loves her job. The whole group had a fantastic time! We would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Hong Kong. Thank you Summer and the team. Aneta.

5.00Don't eat before you go. You will have the opportunity to experience a great variety of foods, including things you might not be expecting. Nothing was too exotic, for those fearful of not liking it, but you get a great history of Chinese cuisine while filling up your tummy.

5.00This was a really fun tour, and I'm super happy that we did it! First off, our tour guide Michael provided a really great experience. Aside from the basics (HK local with great English), he provided very interesting context about the history behind the food we were sampling. He was very attentive -- when he noticed that my mom was having trouble keeping up, he had her walk with him in the lead so as to pace the group, but without making her feel bad (saying that it was a "team effort"). I saw him be equally accommodating to the other people on our tour. Speaking of that, there were about 12 people total, which was small enough that we could have personal attention, but large enough for the opportunity to meet other people from all over the world. The tour is fairly compact geographically, so in 3 hours, you get to try a bunch of different places, and different foods -- savory, sweet, as well as beverages. Our favorite was the dim sum, but there were also BBQ pork, won ton soup, medicinal teas, and some unexpected HK twists on western dishes (if you think you know what "macaroni & cheese" and "French toast" are, you should test your assumptions here). Nice mix of common favorites and the less well-known. All of this in the bustling Sheung Wan area, which showcases the vibrant, crowded side of Hong Kong. $168HK is definitely worth it, especially considering all the food that's included!

5.00Yeah so worth it. Michael takes you around the neighborhood and gives you a bunch of different classic HK dishes while giving you all of the relevant info around them. That sounds like a standard food tour but the dishes and info were just so enjoyable. I recommend doing this early in your trip because you’ll feel like you know some basics about HK after. 10/10

5.00Jasmine was an excellent tour guide—super friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. This tour was a fantastic introduction to Hong Kong and the perfect way to experience traditional street food. We did it on our first day, and it couldn’t have been better. We learned so much about Hong Kong’s popular foods while sampling some truly amazing treats. I highly recommend this tour, especially with Jasmine as your guide. She was professional, thoughtful, and incredibly thorough.
