Great tour and experience with the tour guide Stephen. Very punctual pickup and order of events. We got to Lantau island with a fast pass on the cable car, so no waiting in line. The walk through the steps and the Buddha temple was good where things were well explained. We got to see the Kwun Yum temple which was very unique in its design, and amazing views of the mountains. The local vegan lunch was filling and quite delicious. Taio village was unique and we got to walk through and actual on the water house and the village, where you can get local produce, various souvenirs and refreshments. Though this was the last stop, Stephen made sure that all the participants of the tour had necessary travel arrangements prepared and ready. Would tour again

I would 100% recommend this tour to other given that you get a good mix of the heavy tourist spots in addition to a few local traditions that you wouldn't otherwise be able to get exploring on your own. As an example you have tea at a local fishing villagers house and a local meal of the monks! Michael is a very knowledgeable guide that also gives you a good historical background in addition to answering questions about anything else you are curious about. It is definitely worth the time!

This tour was a refreshing escape from the usual tourist spots. We explored a tranquil Buddhist temple with no crowds, enjoyed a flavorful vegan meal inspired by monastic traditions, visited a traditional fishing village, stepped inside a real stilt house, and even saw a rare pink dolphin. The journey itself was part of the fun—we traveled by cable car, taxi, boat, and bus, making every leg of the trip exciting. I went with my 15-year-old, and she was just as engaged and fascinated throughout. Stephen, our guide, was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and full of great local tips. He even introduced us to some delicious street food we wouldn’t have found on our own. If you’re looking for a genuine, immersive experience in Hong Kong, this tour is a must-do.
