  It was extremely fun. Our tour guide David was very friendly. We were also able to catch a fish. Was a bit cold so the provided suits is a must as you will be standing still in the cold for a while

  We had booked yours via Viator, which the operator cancelled before 15mts to Santa Village. For this reason, we went to the village by bus, and while talking to the driver, he advised us to use the services of Safartica as they are very reliable and take care of their guests like their babies. We decided to call them for an Ice Fishing tour the next day, and they emailed the payment link, and we paid. The next day our tour guide, the charming Ms. Jenny, was waiting for us and explained all. About the trip and provided warm clothes. After changing the dress, we drove to the remote ice fishing location, and Ms. Jenny was highly knowledgeable and pleasant throughout the drive and explained the Lapland activities. We then reached the fishing site, a quiet and relaxing place. Ms. Jenny taught us how to drill and the basics of Ice fishing. We dug two for us and one for her, and while fishing, she prepared our fabulous lunch, hot tea and cookies. It was a wonderful experience, and we would like to thank Ms. Jenny for the great hospitality.

  My son and I signed up for Ice-fishing by car on Christmas Eve. Reservations were made through the internet; the company representatives responded promptly to my email inquiries. On the day of our tour we met our guide and driver at the company's headquarter. We were then driven to a lake with incredible landscape. Our guide demonstrated every step on how to ice fish. Then it was our turn. Our guide passed around hot tea/juice and cookies while we were fishing. The actual fishing time wasn't very long, but enough to get a taste of it. My son caught two fish! Our guide was super nice; she started a fire to grill the two small fish that my son had caught! Overall it was a great experience. I would have no problem recommending Safartica.
