After hotel pickup, head to the Brazilian side of Iguaçu National Park. Upon arrival, take a tour that begins with a 3 km trip aboard a vehicle that travels through the Atlantic Forest. Within the limits of the Park, an ecological tour is carried out. In an open wagon pulled by Jeep, travel through the jungle for 3 km, while our guide provides interesting information about the ecology of the region. The tour continues on foot to the banks of the Iguaçu River. There, a specially equipped speedboat takes the tourist as close as possible to the waterfalls, providing an exciting adventure and a unique view of the falls. Then, explore the falls at your own pace, observing the Iguaçu River Canyon and some important waterfalls until you reach the Devil's Throat. An unforgettable image! Have a fantastic lunch at the park, at the top of the Falls, a restaurant, which has a varied menu with delicious foods, and you can eat with a splendid view of the Falls. Afterwards, visit the bird park, a sanctuary that offers tourists the opportunity to see the flora and fauna up close. Walk through the aviary seeing magnificent specimens of birds native to Brazil and other tropical countries.

It was spectacular..just awesome. The experience made better with the boat trip and a helicopter ride. The whole day was just an exhilarating journey.

I knew the Argentine side, but we loved the Brazilian side. We arrived in Foz de Iguaçu after 10:00 am. The guide picked us up in his car, took us to the bird zoo, then we went to see the falls. He accompanied us to the buffet lunch (excellent) We went on the boat ride on the river. You have to be prepared for the wet. He then took us to Brazilian customs for departure from the country. We entered Argentina and they left us with transportation from this country since they are bothering Brazilians when crossing borders The cost is apparently high, but in our case we saved a day and that costs a lot in time and money.

It doesn’t get much better than Nani!!! She is funny and delightful, and made the day so much fun. Even when we changed our itineraries, she went with the flow and created the most amazing day for us.

We visited the Itaipu dam, the falls, the bird park and the three borders in one day. Our guide Marcos had organized everything very well. He is fun to be with and we laughed a lot during the day. He is a excellent tour guide and a great person to spend the day with. We will use him next time as well.

Fantastic day made even better by our guide, Ilania (affectionately known as Nanny, sp?)! Our trip began with Parque das Aves. This place was amazing and beautiful. Our guide explained the background of the park, the diversity and uses of the many plants, and was very knowledgeable about the birds. Our next stop was Foz do Iguaçu. It is almost impossible to describe the beauty at the falls. We have fantastic pictures and I'm not sure they do the Falls justice. Again, Nanny was full of information and tailored her comments to our interest. She explained where to get the best views, where to stop and get the best pictures, and accomodated our pace. Lunch on site was flavorful, delicious, with abundant choices. Try the lemonada! Our next stop was the jeep tour to the boat ride. The guide for the jeep tour did a great job explaining things while Nanny took the opportunity to give us more info once we reached the boat and waited for our ride. You will get wet, soaked actually, and should plan accordingly! Again Nanny was ready for us with a small towel for faces. She even kept watch over our items while we did the boat tour. We cannot thank Nanny enough for a wonderful day. She was prompt and well equipped for a day of sun, adventure, and mosquitoes. Her knowledge of the bird park and falls was impressive. She watched for little details and tailored the day to us. Honestly felt like my aunt was showing me her town.
