  Wow! Just wow! Maria was fabulous. From the moment she picked us up at the airport, we were treated wonderfully by Maria! Her knowledge of the history of the area, the falls, the wildlife and trees, is exceptional! We all had an amazing time thanks to her guiding us for two days.

  Maria was the greatest! I hired her many months before our second visit to the Falls and she arranged everything perfectly as we requested. She showed us a quieter side of the great Falls on the Argentina side and we enjoyed her getting us through the crowds and on the train very fast. We are an older couple and she made sure we rested when necessary and didn’t push us when we just wanted to visit with her about her country and her life. What a remarkable and dedicated guide. She knew so much about the area and the plants and animals. It was so enjoyable and she arranged the Grand Melia Hotel, right there within the Falls area, to have a late lunch before our flights back to Buenos Aires. It was a delicious meal and she joined us in appreciating the beauty of Falls as we ate. We sat eating while looking right out into the Brazil side of some of the Falls! There is such power in that area it was refreshing to sit quietly and take in the Unbeilivable site of this wonder. This was a one day trip up and back from Buenos Aires and Maria made it work seamlessly! Hire her, she is the guide you are looking for!

  We just finished our tour with Maria. We could not have asked for a better experience. We were delayed in our arrival due to missing a flight. We had to change plans with her multiple times but Maria was kind and flexible . She even offered to start extra early so we could do both sides of the falls. Her knowledge of nature was amazing. She got us through customs on the Brazil side in record time. We highly recommend her and would suggest that anyone going to Iguazu Falls use Maria as their guide!

  An incredible experience at Iguazu Falls! My husband and I had the pleasure of spending two days with Maria Laura Gamboa as our tour guide—our first day on the Argentine side and the second on the Brazilian side. Laura, as she prefers to be called, made both days not only interesting and fun, but completely seamless. She guided us expertly through both parks and even handled passport control in Brazil with ease. Her knowledge of the Falls is impressive, and she made sure we didn’t miss a single highlight. We trusted her completely—starting early to beat the crowds and saving the shadier areas for the afternoon to avoid the strongest sun. Laura is a genuinely happy, pleasant, and engaging guide, and she was incredibly patient when my husband had to stop every five feet to take yet another photo! I would highly recommend Laura to anyone visiting Iguazu Falls—she truly made our experience unforgettable.

  Maria Laura is not only a wonderful guide but also a wonderful caregiver. She took exceptional care of us when our flight was suddenly canceled. She spent half the night searching for a suitable solution for us and then helped us at the airport (we don't speak Spanish). We consider her one of the best guides and people we've ever met.

  We had an amazing day at Iguazú Falls yesterday. Maria’s guidance was invaluable both before our trip and throughout the tour. Thanks to her expertise, we were able to experience the falls to their fullest extent.

  Maria is the best. Not only she knows the Falls and the Iguazu area but she knows how to organize the activities to make best use of available time without rushing anything. She spent many hours answering my questions to come up with a plan for a two day 3 nights visit. Everything went like clockwork - from the time we landed in IGR to our departure. She picked us up and checked us in the hotel and started the tour the next day To minimize border crossing times and avoid delays when we went to the Brazilian side (saw the falls and the Ithaipu dam), she got a Brazilian car with a Brazilian driver. She booked our entry tickets to avoid delays in the morning and arrived a few minutes early to leave on time in the morning. Her sequencing of visit to various attractions ensured no time was wasted going back and forth. Also, her husband is a tour guide too, so he is able to fill in case of an emergency such as sickness, etc Unfortunately, we had a small medical emergency and she arranged for a doctor visit to the hotel who not only attended to the patient but also got the medicines from the pharmacy. You won’t go wrong with Maria. We may only visit Iguazu once in our lifetime and must get the best experience possible. Maria ensures that. GO WITH MARIA

  Maria Laura was our guide for one full day on the Argentina side of Iguazú Falls and a half day on the Brazil side, and she was absolutely exceptional. Her knowledge of the parks, wildlife, history, and cross-border logistics made the experience seamless and incredibly enriching. She truly went above and beyond. Maria Laura anticipated every detail, timed our visits perfectly to avoid crowds, handled border crossings effortlessly, and made sure we experienced the very best viewpoints without ever feeling rushed. She was attentive, patient, and genuinely invested in making our experience unforgettable. Thanks to Maria Laura, our time at Iguazú Falls was not just beautiful — it was exceptional.
