5.00The DMZ was really great! Our tour guide Joo-Ee took really good care of us, explained everything very well and was really funny 😊 I definitely recommend this tour as you learn a lot about the history of South Korea and North Korea.

5.00Loved this tour — super informative and a great way to learn more about Korea’s history. Our guide, Joo-ee, was witty, friendly, and really knew her stuff. The walk in the tunnel and hike to the suspension bridge were a nice little workout too! Definitely worth it if you want a mix of history, scenery, and plenty of photo ops with fall colors.

5.00We went on a small DMZ tour with Joo-Ee as our guide. I was a bit nervous about the early start and finding the pick up point (our hotel was outside the pick up zone). But everything went super smoothly, the communication with Joo-Ee was great, and the day started well. On the way to the DMZ Joo-Ee told us about the history of Korea and facts about the division of Korea. She was super well prepared with materials and the information kept on coming throughout the day. She even had individual binoculars for us at the observatory. Things could not have been better and I’m convinced that Joo-Ee‘s sweet and fun way of relaying information made the DMZ tour one of the highlights of our Korea trip.
