Consistent rapids will keep your attention the entire trip. After a fun warm-up section of unnamed class III rapids, you will drop into Nomad rapid then immediately finding yourself in Fall River rapid. More continuous class III rapids lead you to the 1/4 mile long Phoenix rapid followed immediately by Deliverance hoping you stay in the boat. This section of Clear Creek offers plenty of opportunities for whitewater surfing and then the final rapid, Outer Limits, followed by a fun scenic section through the town of Idaho Springs. This trip is for people looking for excitement and adventure and will keep your attention the entire time.

Charlie Taylor Water Wheel at Bridal Veil Falls
Originally a part of Tayler’s series of five stamp mills, the waterwheel was moved as a community project to its present location in 1948. Since then, it has served as an important visual landmark for Idaho Springs residents and for those traveling through the area. In 1988, volunteers donated an estimated 3,800 hours of labor to the rehabilitation/restoration of what is considered to be a valuable community resource.

5.00The company is great and our guide Scootie was terrific (loved surfing in the eddie). I had so much fun the week before on a work outing that I took 3 of our kids on July 4th - so much fun and with our guides safe. Another group with a different company in front of us had a medical emergency and those guides didn’t carry cell phones so our crew helped out. 10/10 can’t wait to go back again and thy the advanced trip.
RMWR and Oliver are FIVE STAR!

5.00My daughter and I took a quick trip to Colorado and found RMWR to be the best choice for us. I am so glad we chose them. We took the intermediate trip and Oliver was our guide. He was absolutely fantastic. He was funny, personable and made our trip memorable. He likes to do extra-curricular(surfing) activities while he is out there, free of charge! We felt safe the entire time and would absolutely recommend rafting with RMWR and seeking Oli as your guide. If we are ever in the area, we will be back. Maybe take on the advanced trip.

5.00This was my first time rafting in Idaho Springs but fifth time in Colorado, we had an excellent experience. From booking, checking in, welcome and safety talk, getting gear, bus ride, rafting, returning gear, and purchasing photos, everything was clear, friendly, and fun! Our guide Nate was clearly experienced and made our trip awesome. He was clear with directions, super friendly, and encouraging. We kept everyone in the raft and didn’t flip, thanks Nate! Cody was a great driver and I think he also took the photos, impressive work. Jack was super cute and my husband and I decided he has a pretty cool life. 🐾 Every employee was helpful and friendly, I wish I knew all their names so I could mention them here. We will definitely be back next Summer! Thanks so much for a great experience.

5.00We had an incredible experience on our rafting adventure, and it’s all thanks to our amazing guide, Nate! From start to finish, he went above and beyond to make sure we had a safe and thrilling journey. Nate was not only highly skilled and knowledgeable about the river and its rapids, but he also had a fantastic attitude and a great sense of humor. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure we were all comfortable and confident before hitting the water. Throughout the trip, Nate was attentive and proactive, ensuring everyone’s safety while keeping the mood light and fun. His calm demeanor put us at ease, especially since it was our first time rafting. Because of Nate, this will not be our last time rafting. It was so much fun. 5.00Phenomenal trip with RMWR! Our group of seven were split into two rafts with our guides, Keegan and Nick. Both were experienced, knowledgeable, and very personable. Glad we chose to do our trip with this company. Shout out to Cody for helping us have a safe and smooth experience. Will definitely return again!

5.00What an experience! I wanted to go White Water Rafting on my birthday and friends recommended Rocky Mountain Whitewater Rafting and I’m so happy we booked through them. Keegan was our guide for the morning and he was extremely knowledgeable and FUN. He made sure we were safe at all times and was a really cool guy to hang with for 2.5 hours. The whole staff was pleasant from the moment you walked into the door to when you leave. Keegan also recommended a place in town to eat called Tommyknockers which was excellent and he also recommended a short hike up to Saint Mary’s Glacier which we ended up doing as well. Thank you so much! 11/10 would recommend!
