  Went diving with JP this morning at tug boat beach and turtle rock. We saw lots of fishes, seahorses, turtles and eels. Amazing experience with Scubacao!

  Fantastic Scuba diving experience. We got a hotel pickup and dropoff so we didn't have to worry about travel to and from the activity. They had a secure location to store our belongings when we left for the dive sites and had comprehensive walkthrough for safety (visuals/talking before and practical examples before the dive itself in the shallows). We did two dives, the first with a larger group that was enjoyable and had a photographer along from a different company who took amazing shots that were available for purchase after the first dive. The second dive was only the two of us with two instructors that was much more focused and went to deeper depths with several beautiful sights and experiences. I would highly recommend this diving group as they have made us want to go diving again after this first great experience.

  Was a little super to book since there were only 17 reviews on the website at the time, however all 5 stars. Met at the dive shop at 830am, an unassuming place that you might otherwise drive right by! The crew came out to greet us, everybody was so nice. We booked 2 dives and an reintroduction lesson. My dad and I have scuba'd a handful of times but wanted a refresher. Intro class and paperwork took maybe an hour. The viator link on the email confirm didn't work to complete paperwork prior but don't worry they have all the paperwork there anyway. We got fitted for our gear and departed to a small beach nearby and were in the water pretty quick. We were with a small group which is nice because you have full attention from the instructors. The waves were unusually huge this day, visibility was very low and the master divers make the (correct) call to move to a different location as there were a few brand new divers with us. So we had to remove all the gear, drive down the road and they brought us to Tugboat beach under a huge oil rig, which was SO cool! We were in the water in no time and the dive was great. We swam past a shipwreck, under/around the rig and back. One of my favorite dives ever. There was even an underwater photographer who came along which was a great surprise and she took some awesome shots which we purchased for an extra fee after dive #1. We got out of the water, suited down, ate some cookies, changed tanks and were onto dive #2. A short drive to another beach and were underwater again really quickly, which is a good thing because of the early delay. This dive was along some reefs and we followed a baby sea turtle for maybe 15 minutes. It was for sure the best dive(s) I've ever been on. The locations were really really cool however I have seen better sea life elsewhere (Tulum), but took nothing away from this awesome experience. We dove with JP and Quincy who were both great. Would HIGHLY recommend and we will book them again if ever in Curacao for a stay or in port for a cruise. You can tell these guys really love it and are a pleasure to work and dive with.

  My partner and I had been wanting to take the open water course for quite some time, and after doing some research, we decided to do it in Curaçao. Scubaçao stood out to us as the best option, with great reviews and recommendations from experts. We had an amazing time! Learning to dive in Curaçao was an unforgettable experience, not only because of the breathtaking underwater scenery, but also because the staff at Scubaçao were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We took the course with Mads and Juan Pablo, and Carolina handled all of the planning. They also knew the island really well and gave us some great recommendations for the days when we weren't diving. If you want to dive or do snorkel in Curaçao, Scubaçao is the place to go.

  Great experience! They picked me up from the cruise port promptly. The pre-dive learning was clear and easy to understand and off we went on our first dive. Both dives were shore dives with easy entrances into the water at both locations. Highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get their feet wet!

  Since my arrival in Curacao, I have always had a big dream: to become a diver. However, for many years, I only snorkeled with my daughters. Last year, I decided to give my husband the diving experience for his birthday, and it was spectacular to see myself breathing underwater. At that moment, I made the determination that I would become a diver, and I would do it in the company of my daughter, who lives in Holland. I saved for several months to make this dream come true, I brought my daughters to the island of Curacao and repeat our diving experiences that have united us throughout our lives. It was not easy to find a place on the island of Curacao that could teach me diving in Spanish, but after a lot of searching, I finally found the best in Scubaçao. From the first moment I contacted Carolina, I knew that I had arrived at the place I was looking for, a place where I would feel like family and completely confident in learning this discipline. Juan Pablo taught us in a very fun way, which made us feel even more confident and like part of a big family. In fact, I recommend Scubaçao to everyone.

  I'm thrilled to give Scubaçao a glowing 5 out of 5 rating! Today, my mom and I received our Scuba diving certification, and I can't express how much fun and excitement we experienced throughout this journey. After spending many wonderful years on the island, we decided it was time to treat ourselves and embark on this incredible adventure. Scubaçao welcomed us with open arms, and the entire staff was not only super sweet but also incredibly funny, making the experience even more enjoyable. The online theory course was a breeze, thanks to the engaging videos and pictures that made it easy to absorb all the essential information required for our in-water training. Our instructor, JP, was an absolute gem. He went above and beyond to answer all our extra questions about underwater situations, the fascinating marine life we would encounter, and valuable gear tips. His delivery was always peppered with a touch of humor, which added an extra layer of joy to our learning process. Scubaçao took us to wondrous underwater worlds we had never seen before, as well as to beaches we thought we knew so well. Diving 18 meters deep and witnessing the hidden treasures of the ocean left us even more enamored with the beauty of the underwater realm. We were so thrilled with our experience that we're already planning our next trip, and you can be sure it will involve Scubaçao! We highly recommend them, as they were able to accommodate my mom in Spanish and Papiamentu, and me in Dutch and English, ensuring that we felt comfortable and supported throughout our Scuba diving certification journey. Thank you, Scubaçao, for being fantastic teachers and for providing us with such a fun and enriching experience. We can't wait to dive with you again!

  We had a basic course with JP and it was great, he is very good at explaining and fun. Then we went diving with him and Clarisa who took some great photos of us. Truly an unforgettable experience and highly recommended.

  A wonderful time with Chris! Very patient and eager to teach. So glad I did this, made me much more interested in actually getting certified. Everyone at Scubacao was also so nice and helpful. I will use them again next time I am back.
