"Getting to Your Meeting Point (from Galataport Cruise Terminal): The easiest way to reach our meeting point is by tram (T1 line), a journey that takes approximately 30 minutes. Walk to Tophane Tram Stop: Upon exiting Galataport, turn left and walk for about 10 minutes until you see the Tophane tram stop. Take the Tram: Board the T1 tram in the "Bağcılar" direction. Exit at Sultanahmet: Get off at the Sultanahmet tram stop. Walk to German Fountain: From the Sultanahmet stop, the German Fountain (Alman Çeşmesi) is just a 1-minute walk away. Our guide will be waiting there. Tram Fare Payment: You can conveniently pay for your tram fare using your contactless Visa or Mastercard credit card (American Express is not accepted). There's no need to purchase a separate travel card."

Blue Mosque
The Sultan Ahmet Camii, the Blue Mosque, is a breathtaking, majestic Ottoman mosque. Its cascading domes and six slender minarets pierce Istanbul's skyline. Completed in 1616 under Sultan Ahmet I, it rivaled Hagia Sophia's splendor. Inside, serene beauty awaits. Over 20,000 blue Iznik ceramic tiles adorn walls. These intricate floral tiles create its ethereal glow as sunlight filters through 200+ stained-glass windows. The soaring central dome, on four massive fluted pillars, evokes immense spiritual calm. Every detail, from mihrab's mother-of-pearl to minbar's carved marble, highlights exquisite craftsmanship. It's an immersive experience, a testament to Istanbul's rich heritage. Important Visitor Information: Note: No priority entrance for guides at mosques. We only skip lines at museums. Be cautious of contrary claims.
Hippodrome
The Hippodrome of Constantinople, nestled in Istanbul's vibrant Sultanahmet district, was ancient Byzantium and Constantinople's bustling public arena, primarily famed for its exhilarating chariot races. Its name, fittingly, combines the Greek words hippos (horse) and dromos (way). Far more than just a race track, this vast space was the epicenter of city life. It hosted grand gladiatorial games, elaborate official ceremonies, joyous celebrations, and even fervent public protests. Darker chapters saw it used for the torture of convicts, reflecting its complex role in the city's history. The Hippodrome seamlessly functioned through three monumental eras: the Roman (203-330 CE), Byzantine (330-1453 CE), and Ottoman (1453-1922) periods, bearing witness to centuries of imperial power, public spectacle, and profound societal change. Today, though much reduced, its spirit lives on in Sultanahmet Square, surrounded by iconic landmarks, still inviting visitors to imagine its storied past.

5.00Ludwig was a fantastic tour guide - informative, funny, personable, and made sure everyone in the tour group was comfortable. It was a long day (which we expected), but we laughed and learned the whole time. I would rate him a 10 out of 5 if the app would let me. The tour is a great overview of the main tourist attractions of Istanbul. Highly recommend.

5.00This was an amazing tour! Lütfullah is super knowledgeable, personable, and fun, and really went out of his way to be helpful. I felt like I learned a lot and got to see most of Istanbul’s most famous sights all in one tour. I especially recommend this if you only have a day or two in Istanbul, but want to make sure you are hitting the most important spots. 10/10 would recommend this tour :)

5.00if you have a day in Istanbul it is worth booking this tour. Lufti is knowledgeable and passionate about Istanbul and the history of the city. I thoroughly recommend it. Not having to wait in line for the key sites was a real bonus!

5.00I really enjoyed this tour. The guide is very knowledgeable and the pace of the tour was perfect. He was so efficient. He had all the tickets precooked and we were able to be fasttracked through the ques. I could see he was very experienced. I could never have seen as much or understood what I was seeing without using this guide. It was a fabulous day.

5.00I’ve taken many all day tours through Viator, and this one was the absolute best. Truly was a small group setting, allowing us to be nimble and flexible through all the sites. Lutfullah was our guide. He did an excellent job of navigating the group, sharing history, entrance policies to the mosques, making a suggestion for lunch and answering all our questions along the way. We covered so much ground in one day, keeping it interesting without being overwhelming or feeling run down at the end. Being able to quickly walk through lines and navigate through the large sites was a huge time saver. I will recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Istanbul.

5.00We booked this tour because the itinerary was perfect and included everything we wanted to see in one day and we could not have done it without the expertise of Lutfullah who navigated us through Istanbul and all the sights. He was very thorough in telling us the history of the sites, had a good sense of humor and happily answered all our questions. He was also very patient and did not rush us, letting us take our pictures and guided us at a leisurely pace. We were impressed at the start by the excellent communication provided by Lutfullah. Right after we had booked the tour, Lutfullah contacted us to give us detailed information regarding the prices of the sites, where to meet, what to wear, etc. and kept in touch until the day of the tour. He met us on time and spent the entire day (9am- 5:30pm) with us touring all the must see sites. We had a delicious and enjoyable lunch getting to know Lutfullah and then continued the tour taking the tram across the Galata Bridge. We then took a cruise around the Bosphorous and afterwards visited the Dolmabahce Palace since it was a Tuesday and the Topkapi Palace was closed. Finally, Lutfullah helped us get on the tram to get back to our hotel. We would like to express our gratitude to Lutfullah for providing a wonderful experience and highly recommend him if you want an enjoyable and comprehensive tour of Istanbul.

Thanks to his expert knowledge of the local area, we were able to make the most of our day and take in more details of the attractions that we might otherwise have missed, and he was very helpful in answering our questions about other aspects of our stay in Istanbul.
