Enjoy the calm water of Ixtapa Island, where you will have the opportunity to swim and practice other water sports in crystal clear water.
The Island has three beaches, all within a very short walking distance. Varadero and Cuachalalate beaches have calm water with sandy bottom where you can swim, and the Coral Beach on the back of the island it’s a great place to snorkel in shallow water because of its beautiful coral reef and wide variety of marine life.
The amount of fish on coral beach is so good that you will be able to see them right from the shore line.
On the island you will also have the chance to relax in a lounge chair with a constant breeze or take a short walk into the bushes to see the tame white tail deer.
On the way back from the Island we will visit at a lagoon full of crocodiles, iguanas, lagoon turtles and beautiful birds in a natural habitat.

Playa Linda
Our accredited tour guide, will walk with you for about 15 minutes around the Linda Lagoon to show you different kinds of lagoon birds, iguanas, crocodiles and lagoon turtles, he will explain you some interesting facts about the wild life in this natural habitat.
Isla Ixtapa
Ixtapa Island Our accredited tour guide will take you to the pier at Linda Beach and from there you will be taken by boat to the island. On the Island you will be taken on a 10 minutes walking tour to visit the 3 beaches on the Island. You will have chairs and lounge chairs for you to relax, enjoy the view, maybe swim or if you want you can rent snorkel equipment and explore the coral reef. Your lunch will be serve at Ixtapa Island, the choices for the lunch can be: Chicken on the grill or breaded or chicken fajitas. Fish on the grill or breaded or on garlic sauce. Shrimp on garlic sauce or breaded. All of the dishes come with guacamole & chips, as part of the lunch you will tortillas and salsa. Your also comes with a beer or soft drink. After lunch you will have to relax for about 1 hour and after that you will be taken back on the boat to the mainland and from there to your hotel.

5.00Francisco was a great guide. He picked us up at our Airbnb in a comfortable new car. All along the way he taught us about birds, animals and history. His English is excellent. We had fun on the coral beach and my daughter enjoyed snorkeling with a great guide. I had a massage and it comes with a huge lunch at a perfect spot on the beach. Afterwards we stopped at the estuary to see crocodiles, iguanas and birds. Great day!

5.00This is a relaxing, laid back day on the beach with a delicious lunch. Be sure to bring water shoes because there are lots of sharp pieces of coral and shells in the surf.
Great tour excellent snorkeling location and sandy beach for swimming.

5.00We did this trip with Francisco. This is a trip that yes, you could do yourself. However — you would miss out on the knowledge Francisco has about the history of Zihua and Ixtapa as well as the relationships he has with vendors on the trip to Isla Ixtapa. We spent most of the trip talking with him about Guerrero and learning more about the area from him. He took us to the restaurant Lili and the staff were very helpful and prices were reasonable for a tourist island. The beaches are so clean! I highly recommend taking this trip with him early in your visit to Zihua because you will be inspired to visit the places he recommends.

1.00The tour operator no showed and left us hanging. no communication. There was a storm that day, but we still have no communication from the tour or Trip Advisor. We are out the money and not having much luck with Trip Advisor to get a refund. It shouldn't be this difficult

5.00We had a lovely outing to Ixtapa Island. The hotel pick up and friendly tour given by Francisco was a real treat. Nice to be taken care of for the day, go snorkeling, eat delicious food and enjoy the beautiful island scenery.

5.00It was a fantastic day, the price is more than reasonable! The meal included is delicious. I spent 3 weeks in Ixtapa and it was by far the most beautiful day of my holiday ❣️ Luis is really friendly, he picks us up with a comfortable and air-conditioned minibus, around the island nice and get to the boat and adds a plus to this superb relaxing day. Luis also has the equipment if you wish to snorkel.

5.00Perfect relaxing beach day. Pablo took very good care to ensure we had a great experience. He greeted us at our hotel and took us on the short ride on the boat to Ixtapa Island - Playa Veradero. He gave us a short tour of the island amenities and differences in the two primary beaches on the island. He showed us to our table for the day where we had delicious lunch and drinks. He provided assistance and was there for any questions on the area - including good local suggestion for restaurants. Lunch was at a very convenient location to the swimming beach. It was a very relaxing day. I recommend if you want an easy relaxing day. Thank you, Pablo.

4.00We enjoyed our day with Antonio in our island of Ixtapa day tour. It’s great to be picked up and driven and when you get there, everything is taken care of. They watch your belongings so you don’t have to worry about them when you are swimming or snorkeling. Two things could use improvement though, the AC in the van could be much cooler, especially on the way home after a day in the sun. The next is the lunch. The fish was over cooked and therefore dry. We heard after we could have ordered off the menu and paid the difference. We probably would have done that if we had known. We heard from a friend that was there at the same time, that the coconut shrimp were excellent.
