I attended a sake-tasting event hosted by Manga Dojo. We had the chance to compare five different types of sake while learning about the nuances of sake from an expert. They also explained in detail how different snacks pair with different kinds of sake, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Each of the five sakes we tasted had its own unique flavor, and they were all delicious. Not only was it a great opportunity to deepen my knowledge about sake, but it was also a thoroughly enjoyable event simply as a fun and tasty way to appreciate Japanese sake.

It is a room in an apartment in Ikebukuro and the location is very close to "Animate". Aki-san, the host, is also the organizer of a Manga workshop, and there was an exhibit on Japanese manga in the room. I also got to meet a famous professional manga artist!! I did not have much knowledge about Sake, so it was a very valuable opportunity to gain new knowledge while drinking Sake. I could enjoy chatting with other participants and listening to the Sake teacher. There was also time to draw cartoons on containers called "Masu",and I took it as souvenirs for myself. After workshop,Aki-san created a chat group and we enjoyed chatting and sharing photos with other participants. Not only enjoyed Sake and Manga, but also made new friends! Highly recommend new experience in Tokyo!!!

I learned about a culture I didn't know about sake! Even Japanese people really think, "Oh, yeah! I often hear that, but that was the difference between ginjo and daiginjo!" It was a great learning experience!

It was a truly wonderful experience. The selection of sake and the perfectly paired appetizers were both excellent. The Japanese-style atmosphere added to the charm, and I had a very enjoyable time. The instructor’s explanations were clear and informative, and the Q&A session was handled with great precision. I learned a lot about sake and its culture. If you’re interested in Japanese sake or want to try it for yourself, I highly recommend joining this event. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of sake culture—and you’ll definitely want to come back again.

After a short lecture on the process of making sake and the differences in taste, we were able to try 5.6 different kinds of sake. I was surprised to see such a difference in taste with sake. The snacks to go with the sake were also very tasty. I want to find the sake of my choice.
