If you’re a wine enthusiast looking for a unique experience then you'll love a Premium Tour and Tasting at a local vineyard and distillery in Jersey.
You’ll learn about the history of the estate, the different grape varieties grown on site, and the winemaking process. You'll go behind-the-scenes in the winery & sample some of the estate’s award-winning wines. From a crisp white to a full-bodied red, there is something to suit every palate. During the tasting, a knowledgeable guide will talk you through the different wines, explaining the grape varieties used and the winemaking process. In addition to sampling the delicious wines, visitors on the Experience will also have the opportunity to try the estate’s homemade chocolate, fudge and Jersey Black Butter. Children are also welcome. Under 10s go free and older children receive an apple juice, activity pack and treat.

Our Guided Tour & Tasting Experience with Premium Upgrade offers everything that our usual tour offers with the added upgrade of a full size spirit with mixer of your choice plus crostini and tapenade at the end of your tour to enjoy in the garden room overlooking the beautiful gardens. Your experience will begin with an introduction to the history of the estate while enjoying the breathtaking views. Next stop is the winery where you will have the opportunity to sample three of our wines and learn about the life of a Jersey vine throughout the year from grape to glass. You will then visit our authentic working Cognac-Style Distillery where you will find out how we distill our unique Jersey Cream Liqueur and enjoy a tasting. You will see where we make our very own genuine Jersey fudge, biscuits and preserves, including our famous Jersey Black Butter, watch our chocolatier in action and have the opportunity to sample some treats. Finally, a refreshing glass of a La Mare spirit of your choice with mixer to enjoy at the end of the tour in the surrounding of our garden room and exquisite gardens.

5.00Great experience, toured with Bob who was very entertaining and full of knowledge. We all (party of 6) thought this was great value for money and thoroughly enjoyed the whole time we spent there. The wine and cider tasting and the drinks and nibbles post-tour were all excellent. I would heartily recommend this to visitors to Jersey.

5.00Lovely day out with our Tour Guide Neil. Myself and wife Marie where treated to a very informative, friendly and pleasant tour of the estate and winery workings. Wine, Cider and other onsite products where sampled with interest. Highly recommended including a ramble trail and lunch.

5.00Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to La Mare winery, John our guide was very informative and we enjoyed a laugh! The wine, cider, brandy, fudge and chocolate all delicious. Followed by a tasty vodka! We completed our visit in the restaurant where we participated in the sharing Roast platter, certainly not to be missed!

5.00Despite poor weather we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Our guide Bob (Roger) kept the whole group interested and we all had plenty of laughter throughout! A great tour and highly recommended. We followed up with tge Sunday Lunch sharing boards and were amazed at the quality of the cooking. The meats were perfect and tasty with plenty of lovely vegetables!! Thank you La Mare!!!

5.00Never been on a wine tour & tasting experience before but I can honestly say I would do one again in the future. John our guide was great, so enthusiastic about Jersey and all of the produce made at Le Mare Wine Estate. Bus stop is right outside so very easy to get to, the setting is very tranquil and we spent all afternoon there as the cafe on site serves delicious snacks, lovely shop and you can also walk round the vineyards yourself so you don’t need to book a tour. All of the products we tasted on the tour, cider, wine, chocolate, fudge were delicious and we enjoyed sitting in the gardens afterwards having a gin & tonic and some food from the cafe - great menu. Lovely shop to buy all of the goodies from as well. Would definitely recommend
