Home to almost 200 species of birds in this wildlife sanctuary and refuge. Songbirds, hawks, owls and waterfowl abound. River otters, deer, and coyotes are a few of the animals you may see while on the boat. Expect views of the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains as your backdrop for a beautiful ride down the river.

Seven Islands State Birding Park

The park encompasses 416 acres along the French Broad River in Knox County. Almost 200 species of birds have been sighted here in this wildlife sanctuary and refuge. Songbirds, hawks, owls and waterfowl abound.

Awesome experience. Captain Emily shared so much about the river and took us for a fast and fun ride. Seeing the wildlife and being on the water was really a fun memory. Take a tour and see for yourself. Old or young-- this is for everyone! Dress normal. You don't need bathing suits. But bring a good camera or even binoculars. Oh what you may see 🦅 🦅 👀

What a great experience! Captain Ricky was absolutely fantastic. Pointed out all the wildlife he saw to us. He also showed us an area that is home to a lot of bald eagles! We were able to see a few and really enjoyed our time on the water. The boat was very comfortable too. 15/10 would totally recommend!
