After being picked up from your hotel you’ll travel to the adventure capital district of Fiji, Pacific Harbor/Navua to begin a journey to a world away from the cares of modern living. Take a cruise up the Navua river, past villages, farmlands, pristine tropical rainforests, deep gorges/canyons, meandering rapids and numerous cascading waterfalls. Stop for a refreshing swim in Navua Rivers biggest waterfall before leisurely ride on the unsinkable "HMS BILIBILI" (bamboo raft) a reenactment of centuries old only means of transportation down river. A Fijian warrior will escort you to the village meeting house to experience age-old customs and traditions with a customary welcome yaqona (kava) ceremony.. This sacred ceremony is only performed to visiting high chiefs or very important people. Learn the History of the village established by lone Englishman John Humphrey Danford. Cultural dances by the men and women of the village, tuck into your hearty Fiji buffet "Lovo" Lunch.

Duration of travel from your respective hotel approx. 2.5hrs - 3hrs. After being picked up from your hotel, Experience Fiji's Natural Beauty as you travel from the burning west past Sugarcane farms, resorts, villages, farms to the adventure capital district of Fiji, Pacific Harbor/Navua. A 15 mins coffee & restroom stop along the way before continuing your journey here. Below is approx. time spent on tour itinerary. 45 mins long boat up Navua River to the Magic Waterfall 30 minutes Refreshing Waterfall swim 45 minutes bamboo raft for a smooth 30 minute-ride on the method of transport favored by Fiji's native ancestors. Boat ride to the village. 2 hours Enter a traditional village, with a Fijian Warrior escort. welcome yaqona ceremony. Learn our history & Culture Cultural dances by the Village men & women.     It's worth the 3+ hour drive from Nadi for this wonderful experience! The local tour guide is truly proud of his village and heritage! The lunch was delicious!

    WOWWWW!! one of the best experiences, from learning about the culture to swimming under the waterfall. It was absolutely beautiful. And the meal they make you is soooo yummy. Loved every second, would recommend to literally anyone

    We had an amazing experience with Nem on the Jewel of Fiji tour. We were a small family group of four, and the only booking for the day, which made the tour incredibly personal and intimate. Nem was absolutely hilarious and had a wealth of knowledge about the area, its history, local culture, and life in general. His sense of humor kept everyone engaged, and his insights added so much value to the day. Added adventure was trekking over and around the debris from the storm the previous two nights. Nem and the boys definitely made sure the path was clear and safe to keep walking. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the bamboo raft as it had been placed up a tree, upside-down and damaged from the flooding, but as a positive we had more time at the waterfall. Highly recommend this tour — worth every cent and more. Nem...We bloody love ya mate!

    So glad we went on this. Always wanted to swim under/near a waterfall. The water was cold but was so worth it! Our guide was absolutely amazing! Loved the experience in the village, I went for the massage and it was worth it. We stayed in denarau so it was a long drive but recommend

    Fantastic and professionally run experience. From start to finish a well polished and safe experience for all ages. The boat ride up the river was stunning and full of waterfalls. The quick stop at a mountain village was beautiful and friendly, lunch was delicious and plentiful, waterfall was beautiful, and the tubing was relaxing + fun

    The tour is outstanding. The only issue is the travel time and distance if you do it from Nadi. It takes 3 hours plus to get there one way !! Other than that the ride on the river, the waterfalls, the experience in the village, lunch and cultural narration are outstanding.

    This was a truly amazing and informative trip. One of the highlights of my trip to Fiji. Not only was the river trip amazing, the lunch was excellent as well. Just a warning-if you are coming from Nadi, the shuttle is very very long

    We got the transfer from our hotel drove 2.5hrs SW to Navua River. Canoe up the river, swam under a waterfall and bamboo raft back down the river. Best Captain, thank you! Our hosts provided a delicious lunch ... a "Lovo" feast in the local village, hosted and prepared by beautiful people. We learnt and experienced traditions and history of Fijian people. We experienced traditional kava ceremony, dances and songs, as well as demonstrations on weaving and the use of coconuts. Thankyou to our guides Nems, The captain, Seva and all of the family who hosted. Thankyou from our family to yours. What a great day!

    It was a long drive to get there from Nadi , but so worth the drive. The, pita, driver was fantastic and very informative. Once we got to the village we were well informed, and fully supported. The experiences was not only breathtaking and fun , but also very informative, and everyone was able to participate as much as they wanted. Lunch was delicious and everyone was super friendly and lots of fun.
