After being picked up from your hotel you’ll travel to the adventure capital district of Fiji, Pacific Harbor/Navua to begin a journey to a world away from the cares of modern living. Take a cruise up the Navua river, past villages, farmlands, pristine tropical rainforests, deep gorges/canyons, meandering rapids and numerous cascading waterfalls. Stop for a refreshing swim in Navua Rivers biggest waterfall before leisurely ride on the unsinkable "HMS BILIBILI" (bamboo raft) a reenactment of centuries old only means of transportation down river. A Fijian warrior will escort you to the village meeting house to experience age-old customs and traditions with a customary welcome yaqona (kava) ceremony.. This sacred ceremony is only performed to visiting high chiefs or very important people. Learn the History of the village established by lone Englishman John Humphrey Danford. Cultural dances by the men and women of the village, tuck into your hearty Fiji buffet "Lovo" Lunch.

What To Expect
Duration of travel from your respective hotel approx. 2.5hrs - 3hrs. After being picked up from your hotel, Experience Fiji's Natural Beauty as you travel from the burning west past Sugarcane farms, resorts, villages, farms to the adventure capital district of Fiji, Pacific Harbor/Navua. A 15 mins coffee & restroom stop along the way before continuing your journey here. Below is approx. time spent on tour itinerary. 45 mins long boat up Navua River to the Magic Waterfall 30 minutes Refreshing Waterfall swim 45 minutes bamboo raft for a smooth 30 minute-ride on the method of transport favored by Fiji's native ancestors. Boat ride to the village. 2 hours Enter a traditional village, with a Fijian Warrior escort. welcome yaqona ceremony. Learn our history & Culture Cultural dances by the Village men & women. 5.00Was a fantastic tour! So the waterfall was the highlight of our trip. The boat ride through the river was actually fun even though I was originally super nervous. Our guide was fantastic and the cultural aspect and meal were wonderful.

5.00Bring a 2nd set of clothes and water shoes recommended. Tour surpassed our expectations! Great food and company. Was very impressed with all the locals who helped make today memorable. Highly recommend!

3.00The tour was amazing and well worth it, lots to do, see and experience. Our tour guide was funny and informative. However, the day started on the wrong foot where we have never been picked up from our hotel. Apparently, the driver forgot about us. If it wasn't that kind lady from Rosie tours I think, who questioned us waiting in front of the hotel we probably would have missed on the tour all together. She spared us the time, the effort and made some calls to get this all reorganized for us while she worked for a different tour operator. I wish I got your name to give you a special mention and thank you for your kindness. Otherwise, I would have given the tour full stars. I have to mention it's a 3 hours drive each way from Nadi so I think it would make much more sense if you do it from Suva as it will save your day. Having said this the drive is scenic and you drive through various villages and beautiful sceneries.

3.00The village is good experience to see. However, it took 4.5 hours one way. So, 9 hours just for traveling! I believe the distance from my hotel to the village is about 1.5 hours one way. So, I spent 6 more hours to pickup and send the other passengers back to their hotels. So, I don’t think it worth it!

5.00The tour guide was amazing, he is lovely, has a great sense of humour and made the trip. It is a fabulous day out. You see and do a lot and the lunch was very tasty. You get a very generous lunch and everything is nice.
