After being picked up from your hotel you’ll travel to the adventure capital district of Fiji, Pacific Harbor/Navua to begin a journey to a world away from the cares of modern living. Take a cruise up the Navua river, past villages, farmlands, pristine tropical rainforests, deep gorges/canyons, meandering rapids and numerous cascading waterfalls. Stop for a refreshing swim in Navua Rivers biggest waterfall before leisurely ride on the unsinkable "HMS BILIBILI" (bamboo raft) a reenactment of centuries old only means of transportation down river. A Fijian warrior will escort you to the village meeting house to experience age-old customs and traditions with a customary welcome yaqona (kava) ceremony.. This sacred ceremony is only performed to visiting high chiefs or very important people. Learn the History of the village established by lone Englishman John Humphrey Danford. Cultural dances by the men and women of the village, tuck into your hearty Fiji buffet "Lovo" Lunch.

Duration of travel from your respective hotel approx. 2.5hrs - 3hrs. After being picked up from your hotel, Experience Fiji's Natural Beauty as you travel from the burning west past Sugarcane farms, resorts, villages, farms to the adventure capital district of Fiji, Pacific Harbor/Navua. A 15 mins coffee & restroom stop along the way before continuing your journey here.     The only reason I didn’t give this five stars is because we had seven hours of transportation getting to the location of the excursion. However, once we got there, we were treated with five star service. We were welcomed into this tribes, family, and home. The weather was overcast and rainy. We had an adventure going up the river in the boat, but it was still beautiful and picturesque. The waterfall was lovely and the gentleman who provided the tour, Nem, gave us so much information on different plants in the region. Once we returned to the village, we had a home cooked lunch that was fabulous and crafts that were made by the village women . It was educational, it was interesting, and it was an amazing experience. I highly recommend this to anyone.

    Excellent tour experiencing Fijian culture and native life. Phem was a great and knowledgeable host at the Village, rapid river ride, waterfall, kava ceremony, Fijian lunch and handicraft. Peter drove safely in a comfortable airconditioned mini-bus. Thank you much!

    It was so much more than a waterfall! The village was amazing. We danced and ate a traditional meal. Everyone was friendly. The drive Freddy was excellent and very accommodating.

    Amazing experience. Driver Malachi was entertaining and knowledgeable. Although a 4 hour drive each way from Denarau, he did an outstanding job of making it a smooth drive. Tour guides at the village, on the boat, and during the waterfall hike were some of the best. They all were fun, friendly, and energetic the entire time. Special shout out to Nem. He was the head tour guide and one of the most positive and friendly individuals you will ever meet. Lastly, really liked the hike to the waterfall. It was fairly quick and not too strenuous. Trails were also very easy to maneuver. Only downside was it was a full 12 hour commitment if being picked up from Denarau hotel area.
